To protect themselves, Utah only needs to conduct a trial, in the legislature, where upon certified copies of the ratification records from each of the states are submitted into the record demonstrating that the 14th, 16th, and 17th amendments were never lawfully ratified, and therefore null, and void.
The state of Colorado has a record of the original thirteen amendment listed as late as 1868, as well.
It is good to see the state of Utah upholding, and honoring the law.
