While it does produce the live-wire type of fear that reminds us why the word "shock" first took on that particular meaning, the parent's horrified screams crossed a line. Fear is entertaining, but there's nothing entertaining about the ragged grief of a parent.
The movie looks gorgeous though. The lighting is phenomenal, and I particularly like the way that 0:47 is framed.

The actual violence isn't what's scary about this, so it's not necessary to go that far. The character's reactions are indeed very believable...which is the entire problem. There's nothing entertaining about that kind of pain. So the movie would be improved on a number of levels by excising that.

creepy but i like it... its been known that there are ghost/evil spirits/demons/etc...that can mimic humans. children and babies see them more due to their level of pure innocence that as we grow older gets worn away from what we do or see...and alot of things can go wrong or happen to children by these mockingbird things...just my opinion :D
