when you look through the eyepiece does it look like an lcd screen or like reallife?? please respond. sorry im new to cameras. please respond ill sub!
That means that what you see in your eyepiece or viewfinder is what the camera lens sees. Every SLR camera has no lcd sreen inside the viewfinder. You se on a small screen what the front lens sees.
Just bought one of these from a friend and having a little bit of difficulty getting good results (though I have got used to navigating round all the functions) it might be the supplied lenses, but I'm finding pictures a little soft round the edges.
Picked one up on ebay for 99, great deal. Came with a lens that was pretty scuffed up but worked. Wonderful camera, 8MP is a good resolution and the photos look great when edited in iPhoto. Guys, the camera is as only as good as the photographer. If you're new to photography, don't go waste $3000 on a 5D Mark II and then not know what to do with it. Look at something new or used that's affordable that can teach you everything you need to know.
defenatly need a camera with high megapixels in order to take good quality pictures. However when it comes to DSLR, 80% of the time picture quality depends on the user. I think this camera has 8 or 9 MP CCD which is more then enough to take high quality photos.
In my opinion canon XT was probably one of the best DSL cameras ever build.
@worldbmx people need to realize just because a camera has a lot of megapixels doesn't mean it can shoot good photos. there are many many aspects of a camera that effects image quality and detail. this is why so many people get ripped off buying cheap point and shooters claiming 15MP's and up, and shoot like garbage.
@worldbmx much more worthwhile to save up and get a dslr. but only if it's necessary for you, and if you like to shoot often. otherwise, don't let such a great product go to waste!
what lense is that?

SLR means single lens reflect.

I hope I helped you :)

@senses71 Oh really? I thought you would need to have many megapixels just for get the high resolution and detail quality :P
So you think it's more worth the money to buy an Canon eos 1000d there you get 2 lenses, one 200 mm and one 18 - 55 mm?
