Well I can tell you that everyone counts the premierships from the VFL.
I remember the GF in 2004, and the big thing was will port win their first or will Brisbane equal the "record" of 4 in a row set by Collingwood in the 20's.
The PAFC has had 6 in a row. I dont get why its one set of rules for counting premierships for Vic, and everyone else starts from scratch.
And just so everyone knows, the SANFL is a much better, tougher competition than the VFL.
