Anyway, there are almost no old people in the streets selling anything now, you confuse it more with the 90s. Moreover, the situation wasn't better in the USA during the Great Depression (which may easily happen again nowadays) or in whole Europe after the WWI. Bad times come and go, great achievements stay forever.
