@tedcrustypivot It sure wasn't. The game was working perfectly fine, I paused it, took a dump, came back and had to deal with this audio problem. Never had this happen on any other PS3 game or console I have connected to the TV. Quitting GT5 to the PS3 dashboard and reloading the game fixed it.
You must have paused it in the middle of a sound byte or something.

@iwanbo i encounted this on nfs shift on ps3 in cockpit veiw but so its no just gt5
