Artis is too awesome! When he plays it is like the prayers going out to the gods of the universes. Watch him carefully, in his whirlwind of chaos there is a peace that settles upon him and that vibration emminates. May Nico Snel be blessed amongst the rightous one. Nico knew the truth.
Artis rocks! This performance showcases his true talent and musicality, he is a class act. I've know him for years, met him in australia when he was here for World Expo 88. Unbelievable guy.
Amazing man! You actually know my mom from back in the seattle days...she's been in touch with you for a little while now. I hear your out in Pt. Townsend, WA? You should do really well there...their heads are screwed on pretty tight in that town.
Thanks indeed! FYI, this was a concert with the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Nico Snel, at the University of Washington campus somewhere around 1995. (You can see my back in the First Violin section.) Nico, who sadly passed away a few years ago, was a firm believer that talent is talent, no matter how many eyebrows he may have raised by programming a spoon player (or spoon master, in the case of Artis) for a symphony concert. The audience loved Artis, and so did we.

Szeretnék egy közös számot, Szakcsi L. Bélával, vagy Lajkó Félixxel...

Artis lives in my hometown. All this "spoonman" fame is just not that great.
This man has a wonderful mind and is very, very smart. Listen to him speak sometime, and it will astound you.

oh, i have listened to him speak. i have rented a room in a house that he frequents. that dude is nuts, and i mean that more or less as a compliment.

The orchestration is very good, and Artis does not spoil, and improves a little.
Unfortunately, the quality of video is quite bad and shows only Artis ...
