@Dutchwhip i don't think so..... average dutch male, from what i read, is just over 6'.. 5'-7" for female. clarkson is is 6'5" and this guy looks taller. cool.. with 2 clicks, i learned something. didn't know that the dutch average height increase per year is substantially greater than the rest of the globe. sad how so many commenters on here are so quick to argue but unwilling to 'click' 2 or 3 times and 1- see they are wrong BEFORE they speak, and fucking LEARN something. thanks.

@dinodam It's not the same though. Gezellig is much more versatile and can apply to a person, a group an object or a situation. I may be used to describe laying in with your partner on a rainy day but might just as well describe the atmosphere at a party with a 150 people attending or the way a seaside cottage looks.

Although it can mean, cozy, fun, convivial, friendly (looking), good tempered, rustic etc. it is very distinctive and any Dutch speaker will know what you mean.
