I think for the most part his taunts and verbal tirades were strategic and part of game play for him (he even admitted this to Amber); but with Jen, I think there was an element of reality to it. I think some of it was personal with Jen. For some reason he didn't like her. That doesn't make what he did right though. While I think Dick has a magnetic charisma, and may even be a cool guy, I do not in any way condone the way he treated Jen. No matter her problem, he went way too far.
