I thought I already made it clear that Bush was not a "fuck up". Unemployment was under 6% his entire term and the stock market boomed until his last year. But the DemocRATs had control of Congress by that time so Bush can not be given full blame, if any. Sure he made mistakes, but so has Clinton and Obama. The president is still human.

BTW gas prices are so high because of the environmentalists not letting us drill in Alaska. I live in Minnesota were we get all out crude oil from Canada and we do not have to pay nearly as much as the people on the coasts do.

The housing bust was in fact set in motion in the Clinton years. Bill Clinton was mainly lucky. The 2012 election will have bad choices for BOTH sides. Obama knows nothing of economics. If you had been allowed to put that money in a mutual fund, IRA, 401K, hell even a CD you would have alot more money right now. I am only 29 so in 30 years SS will make up about 10-20% of the money I need to live if I am lucky.

Why oh why didn't thew shoes hit him in the face? It makes me look like it was planned. The other guy next to Bush seemed pretty unfazed at first when the first shoe was thrown and then he lazily tried to block the other shoe. Not to mention the way Bush dodged it was odd.
