The vid is kind of hard for me to follow......what happened at 5:03 to the mask layer?! And before that, why did you convert the first rectangle to symbol TWO times? And somewhere I think you started programming ("stop"?).... Can you please explain to me?

Hey Thanks for the video. I'm having problem with the symbol 5 Animation Effect. After I Sets the Alphas to 0 and Make the Ease to 10 0 out. The Image effect didnt go from the corner to bottom. Instead of that, the image effect start from bottom and start closing the image to top. I hope You understand what I'm saying. Lol Please let me know. Thanks ( I'm new to flash)

@xfoxdianx yah had that problem as well, but lucky I found a way round it. Basically you have to do the reverse I.e at 6:06 before pressing f6, re-enlarge the rectangle (as in 6:13 - 6:19) then press f6. Go to the first frame on the timeline and reduce the rectangle (as in 5:52 -6:01), then apply the tweening and ease effect as done in the video. Also apply the alpha as 100 on the first frame. Note: is very likely that there is an easier solution to this, but it worked for me. Great tut BTW

I am wondering if there was a simpler way of doing it, uve setme thinking very hard, so many conversions to movieclips..i will need to see this many times to understand what u did, btw the transitions are super!

because i have to duplicate one of the squares in side of the main movie clip...

great video and all! howcome it doesnt work on my cs5, i did everything exactly like u told, but i only get to select symbol 4.

when u click on the mask frame with the squares it selects them all, doesnt work for me ....... 0_0

@DragonBaine you have to click just one of the transparent mask square, don't select the layer on the time line of course will be selected all of them...
