Imagine if US foreign policy were mirrored in society, if we taught kids not to co-operate with classmates, but to threaten and annihilate them, we would have a society where kids bully, kill or drive each other to suicide, where cops scream orders at people and shoot them if they fail to comply, where people kill their own kids for "not saying 'Sir'", a society where theft and rape are rampant, that funds racist governments while assassinating peacemakers at home and abroad. Unthinkable.
