I don't think science is 'bull crap' but I think that everything man does is potentially irrational and harmful. Man is irrational and harmful; how's that? This comes through in his religion and his science; thus, we haven't shown the lack of use for either. As St. Augustine wisely said; 'do not judge a philosophy by it's abuse.' Christianity agrees that man is prone to terrible error.

There is a negative correlation between education and religious belief. The information is there if you choose to access it.

Apparently you ignored by other response to this but I'll try again. Prison statistics largely involve Blacks and Hispanics. Blacks and Hispanics culturally come from religious households. But since it is only cultural religion they do not really know what they believe nor do they practice it; if they did they would commit no crime; thus their seriousness of conversion in prison. If they were already religious they would have no need to convert. Thus, religion is not 'making them crazy'.

For you to assume that their crimes are caused because of religion is total ignorance of the masses and how they operate. It is their lack of good religion that causes the crimes; not because of it. 

I could see that there was a negative correlation between education and fanaticism; but not mere religious belief. You fail to recognize that the Western world is educated because of Christianity. Not in spite of it. But, I guess you'd have to know history. Do I seem illiterate to you?

It's obvious that its a false correlation. Religion has been a long time coming--modern science is relatively new. One does not usurp the other. This is a radical error of the modern atheist mind. They cut off history and misunderstand it completely. Think for yourself and don't let false correlations confuse you. Things are not so black and white as we make them.

Yes, education has become very heavy with math and science, and thusly math and science are associated with what we consider 'intelligent'. The way we measure intelligence has come to this. These kinds of educated people are usually too disconnected from the street and 'regular folk' to take part in usual crime. So, as it is now, good religion has not been fully integrated with what is modern intellectualism. Presently, many civilized people are still non-religious. But this is only now.

heres why the younger croud seems to not believe in god and why people in prison do and why 50% of the population is athiest...

1. when your young and care free w/o anything threatening, you feel like you own your self and there is nothing to control you so you are less likely to abide by a religion...

2. people in prison have nowhere else to turn but god. it is human nature to not be self destructive so one trys to protect them selves with the word of god.

3. now we are reproducing faster.

And according to prison statistics, almost all prisoners are christian as they enter the prison - it's not like any are atheist who covert.

All prisoners are Christian? Wo, wo, wo. Blacks and Hispanics might claim this culturally but there is a big difference between those who practice it and those who claim it. They convert to a true belief rather than just a claim.

Atheism is primarily for intellectuals, this doesn't say much. Yes, intellectuals are intelligent but tend to be blind in many ways as well....

Religion, often yours, has been the direct cause of harm unbelievable in scope. "All prisoners are Christian", was the source that nonreligious people were in prison as well a blind spot in your eyes? Lack of belief in ghosts is also for intellectuals. Intellect lets you determine what is true and what is false. It comes in handy.
