Oh yeas, one more thing. If you use a whole bottle of the glue, a 4 ounce bottle, you can skip the measuring cup. That way you aren't wasting it by having coat the measuring cup. When you measure it in the cup, you are not getting a proper measure because so much sticks in the cup. Then, pour the starch into the glue bottle along with the food coloring, shake it up real well, and then pour that into the glue in the mixing bowl. Less mess, less waste, more goo.

You really should have followed the other people's directions because you got this totally wrong. There shouldn't be any leftover liquid if you measure correctly. And you should add the food coloring to the glue or starch and stir it in so it doesn't stain your hands. It will also stain your clothing so beware. Store in an airtight container after it's made.

if you don't have a measuring cup just use equal parts liq. starch & glue, mix until it comes together. when the "flubber" has formed a ball & pull away from sides of bowl & you are able to form a ball you can add the food color a few drops at a time, folding the color into the "flubber".
