  • Your child is gorgeous~He has gentle beauty. The lady who cut my sons hair actually said is this a girl or boy.

  • @pnaymommy3 I am so very sorry sweetie. I lost my daughter this past thursday due to what the doctors think was SIDS. she was 2 months old. I have been very numb & lost. I can't find any understanding in all this. I pray you find peace & strength I <3 you no one deserves this kind of pain. Our beautiful babies should be home with us. In our hearts they shall stay. God bless you

  • He is absolutely precious. My daughter passed away at 18 months from SUDC March 10, 2010. This video was just perfect.

  • I cried through this entire video....what an amazing and beautiful baby you had....Thank you for posting this...I just lost my god nephew Alexander lee perry just two weeks ago He was only six weeks old little Alex was my best friend sabrinas only child...I keep asking over and over again how or why could such a thing happen to such beautiful gifts?...people deserve to be aware of this...keep pushing forward

  • I believe the number of infants who die from this is higher

  • This both broke my heart and made me feel a bit better. My niece passed away from SUDC in 2006. She was another perfect child. Never really cried about anything except out of surprise when something scared her. She went to sleep one night after hanging out with everyone... the next morning, me and my sister discovered that she wasn't breathing. I kept asking what I did, or what anyone in our family did... But I realized that it was just the luck of the genetic draw. Thank you for posting this.

  • You have made such a beautiful video. I haven't got any children yet, but a close friend of mine lost her 16 month old son to SUDC in Feb this year. We are so heartbroken for them, he was their first child.

  • its so sad that little babys die so young from something such as S.I.D.S i think its so sad i cry everytime i hear about a baby who dies

  • Fever? Fever reducer? Playpen? Bed? Pillow?

Its unfortunate a similar video wasn't posted prior to his death.

I feel for you, he is now resting in the arms and on the chest of angels. Your loss is heavens gain.

  • Your videos are very touching, I am soo so sorry for your loss, I lost my two month old don to SIDS in 2005, hardest thing ANY1 ever has to go thru, a friend recently lost her son today in fact to SIDS, we found out we were pregnant the same day we lost our Troyboy, now little Danny is 2. My heart goes out to your family, Bless you.

  • I'm watching and asking - why? It's really unjust. I can't stop my tears. Pnaymommy3 I will pray for you and your family.

  • Maria, you did such a wonderful job expressing the nightmare of Sudden Death...this can happen at any age...but it just happens more often between 2 and 4 months, but it can still happen to anyone at anytime....Thank you so much for sharing your personal pain, as you know my Joey also suddenly was taken and my heart will never be the same....Elijah is beautiful and I can only hope that parents will become more diligent in demanding answers...our babies are just too precious....HUGS Marta NJ

  • I'm usually a tough guy........... I just shed alot of tears. So so sorry for your loss. it's my biggest fear! Mark in Ireland

  • I have a four month old son and this is my biggest fear. Thank you for sharing your story and your information with others. I know it must have been hard. I lost a brother at the age of five to cancer...not the same I know but it made me so scared to even have kids. Your baby is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing I say will help just know you have helped others through your story. My thoughts are with you and your family

  • I never knew that this could happen after one year of age. I lost my daughter, Faith, at two months old to SIDS. My heart breaks for anyone who has to experience the loss of their child. It's just unnatural. A beautiful little boy. You are so lucky to have known him. I will keep you in my prayers.

  • Thank you. I, too, never knew this existed until we lost our Lijah. I am sorry to hear about your daughter Faith. We both walk the same path of having to try and live through this devastating loss of our babies...and no one understands or can try and understand how great of an impact this is on our lives unless they too have lost a child. Again, so sorry and my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I'm sure Faith was a great joy in the lives of those she touched.

  • With a heavy heart and a million tears I give you my condolences. I am so very sorry. Elijah IS a beautiful beautiful little boy.

  • Thank you.

  • Elijah-those 'sweet cheeks' of yours! Oh-what a sweetie and I love looking at his pictures over and over. This is yet another beautiful video with so much meaning. I am forwarding this to all my family and friends so they too can see what a beautiful loss you have suffered and also be made aware that this can happen to anyone. Maria-continue pushing forth to get the word out-I'm so proud of you-you've come a long way! Love ya-Teri

  • Thanks Teri for always being here for me. I am glad that you like the videos and are sharing them with those you know. Thank you so much for helping me raise awareness in my baby's memory. I really appreciate you.

  • He is so adorible i am so sorry for your loss and this video is very true my dauter was 18 months when we lost her to sids.

  • Thank you for your comment. I am sorry you lost your daughter too. Elijah was 19 months and yes, this is true...this happens...this exists and not everyone has heard of it, which is sad. Hopefully one day we can say that this was something of the past and no more innocent babies or toddlers will be lost in this manner ever again...this is what I pray for.
