Patrick is CLEARLY singing most of his own back-up vocals, thus it doesn't sound as good with just him and Pete not singing. Also, the entire intro is two voices in octaves, and he's just singing the lower part. Honestly, as someone who has sung before, I don't blame him for not wanting to sing the octave up on the intro when he's probably not warmed up enough.

yeah but u have 2 understand there are bands who don't sound exactly like the recordings by a large range of reasons...for instance nirvana wasnt that good in overseas shows cos they liked to have that 'live rehearsal feeling' on stage..in america and tv appearances they performed better... 80s bands like U2 and Simple Minds are 300%better on stage cos their recordings were a lil bit 'held' and naïve...let's say FOB needs to focus more on live sound quality than just rockin on to the cams

yea but these guys arent good live, the singer is shit, and idfc if that pisses u all off, because i am sure it will. but f.o.b is a good band but not live. im just stating an opinion.

anyone who says a band sounds different live is the biggest genius EVER. . .of course there gonna sound different there are no dubbed tracks live plus from hganging out with the band in dublin they wanna see the real bands not those who go hear the album been replayed

they arnt as good live as they are on there albums. BUT they do LOOK good live. which sorta makes up for some of it. at least they aint borin :P
