  • thumbs up for seth rogen?

  • Morrissey wouldn't have used rollers. His hair was always pushed slightly forward, as yours in entirely back. I blow dry it and use Dax Wax (red). It works a treat, but is hard to get out.

  • ive got thick curly hair and i MUST use a blow dryer to get a nice pomp/quiff look. im sure these people who never use a blow dryer have naturally straight hair that stands straight up when dry.

  • man you have the same problem as me..my hair looks like your and if i try to add grease or gel it will go curly..i use a straightener at the front.

  • My advice is try 'Menspact ' pomade it works for my old man and he rates himself to.

  • I'm a Greaser and I NEVER EVER EVER use a blow dryer. I strictly use Murrays Pomade and a comb. I always comb my hair before I put the pomade in b/c it will hurt really bad combing it back D:

  • is your hair curly or straight??just a question bc my boyfriend has trouble doing his hair and its really curly do know what he can do??

  • I've straight hair.

  • so this says how I fix my hair when u gona start

  • Greasers never used blow dryers.

It was strictly pomade/grease and combs.

  • good thing i'm not a greaser.

  • Squirrel has a point. Your hair isn't punky and messy enough to be Morrissey-esque.

  • that isnt necessarily true. look at the quiffs some of the teddy boys had back in the day... they used blow dryers. and who says. people should be able to use what ever the hell they want.

  • next video: how to shave your arse

  • you should really try pomade

  • Doesn't he use a pomade? Also, if I were to use a blowdryer, should I put the pomade on when my hair is damp, blowdry, then perhaps put some more on after, or should I blowdry the hair first and then put pomade on?

  • hey! seeing a guy use a blow dryer on himself was the coolest thing ever!

  • don't a lot of guys use blowdryers? I always do.

  • look like a gay hairdresser

  • i agree that pomps and hair in general should be all greased up but let the guy do his hair how he wants you know? Stop telling him to put grease or pomade in his hair cause obviously he doesnt want to.

  • Hey! Just wanted to say thank you for posting. Now I know how to do it. It's a big help. Thanks!

  • sorry but those bc(birth control) glasses don't do you justice.

  • hey i have thick hair like urself. and i was wondering what u put in it at the begging?

  • Hey Man, thanks for posting this. I just started with the pompadour and this is a big help.

  • Worst way to fix a pompadour

  • Fuckin' poser, if it ain't greasy, then it ain't a pomp.

  • yup thats right if it a greasy then it aint no pomp get some grease

  • i agree with this guy....and chaoticlex....

btw who the hell needs a blow dryer?

  • You fellas are dumb.

It aint about thee hair... Its about thee

MUSIC. Get it right. BTW I think he did

    a GREAT job =D

  • Oops! i mean i totally agree, miss :P

  • would love to get my hands on that great hair, love it !

  • Killer Hair !

  • This will probably sound rather metrosexual, but i've been looking for answers for awhile: I've got the same kind of curly hair unfortunately. i've tried everything to slick it back from pomade to bryllcreem to gel to whatever, but thusfar nothing is satisfactory, if the wind blows the wrong way my hair ends up a mess. blow drying it after applying gel works to keep it styled a certain way? any suggestions?

    Thanks

  • Hi mazdak1. I had that same "problem" you have. Straight out of the shower I towel dry my hair (but not completely) and apply a pinch of murray's superior pomade: hair must feel thick, than I brush my hair straight back and i let them dry naturally. Now you can do an easy-way traditional pompadour (no hairspray, no hairdryer) if you want, cause hair still straight. You must apply another pich of murray's in this final step. Sorry for my fake english. I'm an italian greaser.

  • awesome i have the same problem ha ha, the writing was good enough for me!!!

  • you look like a bitch all up in the mirror stylin your hair, but at least your a well groomed nice looking guy!

  • How do you do it if your bald?

  • you get a wig! :)

  • so i tried and tried and tried.....and i cant do it.

  • So what are all the steps to making ur pomp? like what hair products do u use and everything. cause i have one but its not as good as urs. i can't get my hair to curl in the comb like you did. plz tell.

  • Now thats style

  • haha That's awesome. I've always wondered how you do your hair. There's no mystery to you anymore. heh ES&D Citlalli06.

  • bigger in all the right places.

  • Nice, but i've seen people with pomps at least a foot high!!!!

  • I want to get a pompadour, but I'm not sure how long my hair should be to do it. I have Wavy, semi-curly hair.

  • um atleast 5 inches long dude..or else it works out all gay..trust me i kno lol

  • thanks

  • You can get it, but its impossible to get it back to normal without damaging your hair.

  • My email is macker1993@yahoo (dot) com

  • Hey guys, I've been wondering how to make a pompadour lately because i want to style it myself. Unfortunately, its not in style atm and it upsets me. Everyone says i was meant to be born in the 50s. I would like to know how to make more of a Elvis-type pomp. I would like to know how long my hair has to be also.

  • All you need is Murray's Beeswax & super-hot water. Your hair should be about Beatles length, but short in back.

    1. Straight out of shower comb straight back

    2. Murrays in both palms, rub together, wipe back on hair.

    3. Comb through once, using hot sink water to clean comb.

Pull forehead hair forward just a bit from left to right

    4. Comb up & over from left to right

    5. Use mirror to fix & check DA in back

    6. Repeat if necessary

    Takes A LOT of practice

  • Yes...I use the murrays and i garanteed that is excelent for fixin the pomp!

  • Ok, so I been doing my hair for 17 years.. one thats not a pomp.. thats more like the singer from color me bad or a late George Michael. two, Ive never had to blow dry and I got thick wavy hair, and ive never had to do some weird rolls like that with that kind of brush. You just need some real pomade and practice. You cant go half way with it.but then hair spray!? Amateurish but I guess you got to get in where you fit in.

  • it all depends. I use basically the same method he does because I don't like my hair all greasy. Runs down my forehead, ruins my towels and pillowcases. And I can't wash it out easily. I use something called "spiker". It comes in a blue bottle and it looks like glue. definitely holds like it and i can wash it out on the first try. I apply it, get the blow dryer out and comb up. worked for me

  • you can use murrays or dax and wave

  • murrays scares me man cuz it makes hair fall out everytime i use it..not a lot..just like 6 or sumtin..

  • Murray's does the same to me, actually. Although, the more I think about it; I just think I NOTICE the hair falling out more. Usually, that hair could just shed during the day and you wouldn't notice. But with Murray's, the hair is greased up and the sheded hair stays on your head until you comb it out (and then, to make matters worse, it sticks to your comb so you REALLY notice it). At least thats how I explain it...because the only alternative is that I'm going bald ;)

  • lol yea u probly r goin bald..but u just need some strong hair..get a thickening shampoo

  • Looks sharp man

  • weak, all you need is murrays. this fool used a blowdryer...weak

  • poserdour

  • now THIS looks great!

nice beard & sideburns too :D

  • yer hott.

  • u lost me at the blowdryer

  • L0L..h0w cute...

  • Use real grease.

  • Great hair lets see more of this.

  • Dude use Layrite it works and it's easier to get out

  • nice job

  • hairspray? dude, no.

  • i don't like it greasy.

  • buh.

  • HOT!
