I saw this live, and it was amazing. He's such an amazing player, and afrofest really delivers more and more each year!

In 2000, I saw Doura Barry perform at a music festival in his native Guinea. West Africa overflows with remarkable musicians, but I was simply amazed by Doura. His voice, guitar and harmonica made a miraculous music. I have my own treasured recording from that night, but I have searched in vain ever since for any professional recordings. Somebody please, make a CD of this wonderful musician!
