actualy some one told me (maby his conslusion but still) that mustain wanted to sing for the songs he wrote and some people tough mustain would be preferable. that this was the last drop for James Hetfield but even so metalica's first album was made with the help of mustain and they droped him for his problems before the 1st album and both metallica and megadeath featured the same song (mechanics? or something) this alone is confusing enough to doubt who would singed if mustain stayd

actually, james hetfield had said that after they recorded kill em all and started writing songs for ride the lightning... he considered getting john bush(from armored saint at the time) to sing for metallica because james wasn't very comfortable singing and playing at the same time, and that johns voice might have been better suited for the album

I remember that Anthrax got pissed at MTV because they didn't want to play their video because it was to depressing. Nevertheless, they played Phil Collin's Paradise, which was a video with the same subject. At the end, MTV ended playing their video. Great metal band..
