  • Its great watching these 2 guys play though, kareem is a freakin beast with that hookshot, and Willis Reed...WOW, that man does NOT get the attention he deserves....that man was a smooth beast with those moves....Love his soft touch around the basket, idc what any of my contemporaries say, that man would do GREAT today.

  • Damn, Wilt Chamberlain IMO is the goat...Ive watched so much footage of him in his younger days, I can honestly say kareem wasn't that mobile compared to wilt...nowhere near as fast, strong or just anything to do with athletic ability. Wilts fadeaway was probably just as unstoppable as kareems hookshot, but the hookshot was more efficient. Kareem was never asked to change up his style multiple times, and he also had to play longer then wilt to pass up his records. Its close though...

  • Great memories growing up in Milwaukee and seeing the Bucks at Milwaukee Arena. Not a bad seat in the house, capacity only 10,700 but the place could get REAL loud. The atmosphere was fantastic.

  • Vids like this make you realise how great of a center Willis Reed was . Top 10 center of all time .

  • Every time the g.o.a.t. hooks him....I laugh

  • kareem never contested any jumpshots

  • As a kid I really used to look forward to the ABC NBA Game of the Week. That was a Golden Era of the league when it seemed every team had hall-of-famers on their roster. Unlike today, there were a lot of great big men that used to dominate the middle. Not just Kareem and Reed, but Wilt, Nate Thurmond, Artis Gilmore, Bob Love, and others. Knicks were the champs this year, but the Bucks went on to win it in '71, Kareem's 2nd year. Man, he was a force. He and Wilt used to have some battles too...

  • Kareem Abdul jabbar or Lew alcindor wasnt defending

  • @DwightHowardbeast12 kareem was n't defending.....?he was a great defender and made 11 all defensive teams....he played until 42 and average 3blocks and 12 rebounds p/g...are u kidding me or u must be 20!

  • @DwightHowardbeast12 Kareem was, I don't know if he still is, the all-time leader in blocked shots. Hell yes he played "D"

  • what a nice jump shot by reed. great mid range game

  • this is a great battle between 2 of the best centers ever!it's also a battle between the former champions knicks and the future chamipons bucks.both also are 2 of the best official teams in the history of nba, knicks had reed, frazier, debbushere, bradley(all HOF) and bucks had kareem, oscar robertson and dandridge....great job!
