Hi, cameras detect movement by the amount of darker pixels, this data creates bangs which trigger Groove objects and integrates with pitch and effects of samples. Its all good fun, doing it for my degree project at UWL. Thanks for your interest and thanks for your videos.
@TheLondonAssassin This sounds very interesting. Are you referring to sonification through gesture (i.e. in performance) or are you attaching sensors to the body and running those through sonification processes within Max?
