The history of Korean BBQ such as Bulgogi and Kalbi gose back to the 37 BC–668 AD. It was prepared especially for the king during the Joseon Dynasty.
Yakitori looks like shishkabobs? Looks pretty good? I've never tried it but it may not be the same in US. I assume you speak Japanese but would it be hard living there if you didn't?
