@cadnyc well, my audio-technica's don't need the additional power, they're so low impedance, so it's not really useful for me on those particular headphones we used, but it is on others.
lol. I love being in public with stuff like this. People say "What's that" and you kindly explain how it's a headphone amp and they look at you with a "are you insane?" type look. Once a person called my HD580s "ghetto" probably because they didn't look "flashy".
@rockgod2131 it was quite a good afternoon at the park, yes, and braving it outside was even more fun, walking around in our own little world, enjoying the outdoors from a different perspective!
@glbrt541 Yeah, the AD700s are the open version of the A700s and the A700s lack in bass when it comes to thumping, the bass is there, but youre not going to shake.
@droptheleash0 I know this is super late and all.. but the PA2V2 is a portable amplifier obviously, I don't use it in the house, it's good for getting past the impedance battle between your headphones and your source, but I wouldn't say it does much for the sound, maybe I'm just used to it though. I've got an Audio-GD Compass Dac/Amp/Pre-Amp for my home listening via optical on my desktop, really like it.

@420isMySweetHoney I've actually only owned the A900's and A950's, but I've heard the difference between the A500 and A700 is much greater than the A700 to A900 jump, but I went right for the top there so I can't really say, the A950's are really a much more refined version of the A900's though, I really like them.

@420isMySweetHoney I've actually only owned the A900's and A950's, but I've heard the difference between the A500 and A700 is much greater than the A700 to A900 jump, but I went right for the top there so I can't really say, the A950's are really a much more refined version of the A900's though, I really like them.
