  • damn. i was looking for that song .. but i can´t find it on the net. nor on itunes :-(

  • This song reminds me of Brooklyn. I love it.

  • Is this song called "Rebecca" in reference to Rebecca Gates of The Spinanes? It sounds like Polly looped the beat of the the song "Madding" from The Spinanes second album Strand.

  • so purrty. reminds me of Portishead at their most sombre

  • I hope someday they release an album of her B-sides/rarities. It might be favorite PJ Harvey disc, if they do.

  • @ZZqezza

  • where can i download this song, if possible?

  • thanks for posting this. I have the single cd, already on my i-pod. i agree with you all, this is such a beautiful song, maybe even better than all the rest from that album. There's something unique in its ellusiveness... like a treasure not everyone can share...

  • This is truly disturbing and beautiful. Her voice and the bell together at 1:43, I always think my heart has just disappeared, jumped out to empty space.

  • ja nevim proc ale na tyhle pisnice od pj ulitavam...........a letim

  • Unlike any other stuff, I've hear undulating syntheses. This is beyond beauty

  • Dreamy, dreamy, dolly Polly

  • thanks for posting all of these divine B-sides. i really think they're paradoxically some of her best work.

  • you are welcome, i have the same opinion like you, these songs are simply amazing. I don't understand why she didn't release them on album

  • well, I don't think they necessarily fit within the whole of the albums, and one of her strengths is crafting her records into short, clear statements that always leave you wanting more, but seem almost perfect anyway. and hey, it just means that rare songs aren't necessarily "rejects" and gives us all something worth tracking down.

  • Hey, i have a request. Could you please post "My Own Private Revolution" if you have it? I think it was a b side to the "A Place Called Home" single if I'm not mistaken. It would be much appreciated if you did.

  • @ZZqezza you both are right. These are some of her best songs. I guess they are not an albums because she's PJ Harvey and she loves to keep us guessing
