Jaibreaking the iPhone just unleashes it's full potential. Too bad the Pre can't be modded. Crybabies whine "it had to be hacked!". That's right! The iPhone is capable of being improved. If somebody is satisfied with a stock iPhone, then be it. But the option is always their to improve it. Is that option available on the Pre? No! You're stuck with what you have.

yeah i had an iphone, and a iphone3g, cracked both of them. my iphone3g had bricked for a while after my friend hacked it for me(like 2 weeks). then he had to figure out how to fix it. so im guessing its easy to unbrick. but if i had went to someone besides my friend im sure they would say "your doing this at your own risk" so i would have been shit out of luck! and i guess you agree that the UI looks better on the pre?

But nice try and as for true multitasking, let's see how quick it is for you to type an email copying text from a website on your phone constantly switching back to the homescreen and me doing it on a pre? I guarantee mine is quicker... :). multi-tasking - The act of undertaking more than one task at one time. Just because you have background apps it does not justfy your claim.
I think what Phearx and whatisthedeal01 are trying to say is that the EVERY pre (out of the box) can multitask. The Iphone (out of the box) can't , but with a bit of time and research it could do the same, the UI doesn't look as good and you do risk the chance of bricking it, but it gets the job done. At this point in time most people don't want to do the research to hack a phone so they go for convenience.

redsn0w is for jailbreaking & ultrasn0w is for unlocking. You have to Jailbreak before you can unlock.
