  • Wierd to think the last LOTR movie came out almost 10 years ago now. I know there is going to be 'The Hobbit' coming up within next couple of years (directed by Peter Jackson) so I am really hoping it is as good as the trilogy.

  • The 1-ring just suggest that the 1000 year period before those rings where created a lot of other inferior rings must have created for different purposes. And where are those, rusted away, melted, corroded ?.

  • Lovely vid! With regard to earlier comments: Tolkien devotes a lot of space in his letters to the question of whether Frodo was a failure or not. As far as he is concerned, no individual could have had the strength to destroy the Ring at the place of its making. Providence had to take over. According to Tolkien no other person could have taken the Ring as far as Frodo did.

  • I agree, Frodo was weak-but that only reinforces Tolkien's idea that everybody had a part to play-that what was meant for evil turned out for good (Gollum)

  • Good video, superb, but Frodo was a loser. I couldn't believe he gained all the credit for throwing the ring over when he probably never told the fellowship of what really occurred. That he was too weak to throw the ring in and have it destroyed, that Gollum actually had to for him, of course unwillingly to them both. Samwise the brave is the true hero, he fought Gollum and spared time in hopes that Frodo would be strong enough to throw the ring in.

  • You don't understand what the ring does to a man.

Frodo is the opposite of a loser to be honest.

  • @Tactics1337 i am not arguing, but that is the whole point, that you cant do it alone.Especially when you are under its power.Frodo is the greatest of hobbits and Sam is too great to be a hobbit, not araggon, not Gandalf and not even the high elves could have done it.they would not have gone even till Mount Doom.they would have yielded to the temptation within days

  • One of the best songs ever written mixed with one of the best trilogy ever made = great video. 5 stars and then some

  • soooo coool!

  • i love thsi video ti so cool

  • That song by Pink Floyd has really managed to take hold of me every time I hear it. And Elijah Wood playing Frodo always makes an impact on me every time. Together they are hard to beat. But I wonder if the song is too dark for a hobbit... but on other hand it fits his story. 5 stars.

  • It's super...but so sad...

  • Very powerful. The combination of Pink Floyd and the clips you chose give such an impression of being haunted, as Frodo is... Beautiful work.

  • Few parts of the song didn't go with some parts of the movie but still, it was a really good video and i enjoyed it. There is one about harry potter (well, several actually) but its a good song from Adema called "promises" if anyone like to check it out

  • nice vid m8

  • That was bloody brilliant! "High Hopes" really fitted the footage and it's one of the best uses of the song I've found in recent times.

    A fine piece of work.

  • this is freakin' sweet!

  • epic entertainment! the lord of the rings, and pink floyd, together! what more could a simple man want? it was like riding a magical mattress down a spiral staircase.
