I don't know why I like this new Ford-Ka, I mean the design is very nice, I like the quirkiness in the style, kind of reminds me of the Fiat 500. Cars like this and the Kuga could really save Ford in the U.S. These cars have designs that aren't boring or bland, like most of their offerings here. I'd choose a Ford Kuga over a Volkswagen Tiguan if it were priced at $22,000 and came with a turbo four-cylinder.
I think this new Ka will be very popular in the UK. It looks a lot more fresher and after nearly 11 years without much of a change to the original Ka, I think ford have done a good job bringing it upto date for the current market.
They are so cheap to buy from new aswell. Its like the very first Ka in 1997 everyone hated the design but now people like it, it will be like this with this design but I think they will sell more over another 10 years

Its gonna be built in poland, in the same factory as the fiat 500. both cars share same chassis, but ka will have some tweaks that make handling better. ST version 150bhp planned.
ford is more a worldwide company. i dont know how familia you are with them but the ka is made in the UK, the fiesta is made in spain, the focus is built in the uk and germany too i think. we dont have the escape or the edge, they are the american ford modols. ford is like a massive franchise now
Ka's are built in Valencia Spain. We used to make Fiesta in Dagenham but we stopped in 2002. No ford cars at all are made in the uk. only transit van in Southampton. Fiesta is made in Cologne. America will get some of the smaller fords soon but this takes time you just cant change a plant over that quickly.
the focus is built in a lot of countrys. it is a european design, ka's are built in the uk however they may also be built in spain, just like honda and toyota, they are built in the uk aswell as japan. the fiesta is made in spain hence the name fiesta. so i presume you dont mean cologne in germany.
it is built in Poland. Together with the Fiat 500. The engines are the same, but the rest is very different. The driving skills and the performance of the Ford is much better.
Mate...i work for ford in dagenham. i know what we build and where we build it. you seem to have got a little mixed up. focus nas never ever been built in uk, neither has ka. when i first joined ford, dagenham had just finished making the cortina and the sierra was begining production. we also made the fiesta here. later around 1990's dagenham went to fiesta production only, sierra going to Genk in belgium. then in 2002 the very last fiesta rolled off the production line....i know i saw it!
