the russians were never capable of delivering their nukes like we were. so they had to increase megatonage to make their bombs even a little more effective. see for yourself. they had the most and heaviest nukes in their arsenal because they could not aim them. the fact is that although many americans would die due to fallout and possibly some blast area affect we would have won ww3. i dont know about how it would end these days though.
