I am an addict and therefore a man of the flesh and not one of the spirit. God therefore cannot save me nor has he. I haven't felt him in my life in years. My prayers are not righteous or effective! I feel forsaken as this was not the life I willingly choose!
@ITHEREONETHATHASNT Have you tried fasting? I've been having the same problem. I am addicted to my entertainment, am still fornicating with the world. But its hard. I feel so weak and powerless, I feel worthless letting my lust control me. But its hard. I'll pray for you. Please pray for me too.
@ITHEREONETHATHASNT It says "those who belong to christ have crucified the flesh with its desires and lusts." Lets both deny ourselves everyday of our fleshy lusts, start fasting, and spending more time with Jesus praying and reading the Bible and studying it. Pray for wisdom and pray to overcome our lusts, addictions, etc. Just stay praying, asking for hunger for God, working on our relationship with God. Don't give up, nothing is impossible with God. It takes effort on our behalfs.
@ITHEREONETHATHASNT What I'm going to do is put my laptop in a case and duct tape it real good. Throw all my books out and not listen to music or entertain myself. You have to submit to God. You have to set your mind on God, on things above not on things below like yourself. If you do then you are not submitting to the law. I don't know about you but I want to be with God when I die, that would be the best moment ever.
