The scene about John's mother was so sad, especially to those who knew what it symbolized. I really would've like to see Paul's response to this. It was something they could kind of connect on, both their mothers dying when they were so young. Heartbreaking.
Why does Yoko of all people have some of the Beatles demos? Demos that nobody has heard before? That just doesn't seem right to me. If anyone should have them, it should be Paul or Ringo. You know, ACTUAL Beatles. Not Yoko.
I thought the bit with John's mother was a bit sick as it was a personal tragedy for John. I would've liked to have known Paul's and Ringo's opinion on that part, but they seemed to skim around it and moved on to strawberry fields. I guess they must've approved as they seemed to ok everything in the show.
@Pammigal yes, it was. for you too @richardsfinalfantasy. it was inspired about Tara Brownem, heir of 21 years of Guinness fortune and a close friend of Lennon and McCartney, who crashed his Lotus Elan on December 18, 1966, when a Volkswagen threw it to one side of the street on their way to Redcliffe Gardens, Earls Court .
For some reason, I don't really like the part with his mother getting hit by the car and dying....it seems unnecessary and I feel as if John would get mad if he were to see it.....but then again, it's just my opinion.
In response to the comment about Yoko....she is a very big part of the Beatles legacy, no, not everyone likes her but that doesnt make her roll in the history any less important. She was a major part & role in Johns life & as that I respect her totally for that. Im not her number 1 fan but you cant take away ANY aspect of the Beatles history & she is part of that. I would LOVE to see this performance but have to be satisfied with youtube!! Thank you youtube!!!! xxxx
@beccaluvstexas Lol, no worries. It's true though John and Yoko worshiped each other and Yoko obviously still does. Who are we to judge. There was many factors that contributed to the end but hey everything ends / dies eventually. Peace and love. x

@richardsfinalfantasy I think the car crash scene was symbolic of another car crash that happened.

May I ask why Cirque dressed John's mother in a red dress while being taken to heaven after the accident?
