Cat hoarders are placing collars on large groups of cats to make it look like they are legally owned. Another cat hoarder ploy so they can keep their cat collection which usually range from 25 to 50 per location. Cat hoarders are known to have at leats 2 or more collections in case one collection is discovered and removed by health authorities. Cat hoarders are not interested in pickingn up their cats feces. They believe evryone who lives in their collection defecation range must live in poop.

This is the #1 REASON WHY I HATE CHINA!!!! People are so cruel these days.... I take care of 20 stray cats and feed them. Why do they have to take them away from their owners? If I lived in China I would set all of those cats to be free, they deserve to. Cats, dogs, and horses are not to be tortured, they are supposed to be loved. Think of it this way, Would you want to be stuck in a cage and be tortured and die? God! Let them be free and go!!!! Take them out of that horrible place! Please!!!

@maomao667: Yep, I have heard the stories of brave animal loving Chinese activists putting themselves in harms way to try and rescue these poor creatures. In one instance, 600 cats were set free by activists who blockaded traders who were in the process of sending these poor kitties to Guandong to meet gruesome fates. Its a shame that so many are quick to tarnish all Chinese people as soulless savages because of the vile acts of the few. Stop the racism!

I know eating cat is a cultural thing, but taking pets without owner's permission should not be allowed.

Not all Chinese people eat cats and dogs.

And those who kill and eat cats and dogs in China are hated by other Chinese people. Trust me, this is true.

Isnt the fact that some of the cats used in the industry are stolen household pets a big clue that there are some Chinese that love cats and dogs, and are pet owners? Cats, dogs, monkeys, donkeys, insects and some other creatures are just eaten in 3 or 4 provinces in China. Not all Chinese people do the weird and horrible thing.

And China just started establishing some laws of animal rights. I think that's a good sign to all humans.

Guandong is probably the most notorious Chinese province for this type of thing, with just cats alone, 10000 are brutally killed everyday. But many Chinese are sickened that this goes on, and are ashamed of this horrible black mark on the good name of their country.

You know, there's really NO difference on how the Chinese handle there strays and how we do it here in the USA. City workers grab cat and dogs by the neck with choker sticks and shove them into cages that way too. actually there is, america has humane shelters that take this cats and try to find good homes for them. In china they take the strays and skin them alive for their meat and fur, something thats ILLEGAL in the US. Now i know chinas culture may be different as far as eating dogs and cats though, but that doesnt give them the right to take cats and dogs WITH OWNERS and turn them into someones lunch or furcoat.
