  • ... Inuit aren't the largest ethnic group in Canada, they're not even the largest Aboriginal grouping, the Cree are more numerous and so are the various Iroquois tribes if grouped together (which is legit because the Inuit are hardly homogenous either). Not trying to say anything bad about Inuit, but this guy obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.

  • Inuit is plural for Inuk..

  • I think the background music is good.I feel we all came from the same places. It is just that the peaceful people have all been forced out ot their lands. The africans also lived peacefully before taken from their lands to become slaves.Everyone probably looked to same and then migrated to places that changed the way they looked.

  • Why is the background music African if the video is about the Inuits? Like, are Inuits Africans. I don't think so - they look Asian.

  • learn to spell before making more videos

  • its kinda bad to call us that, umm we rather be called INUIT, eskimo just mean eaters of the raw meat, lol and umm indians and inuits are soo different, but they coo, lol

  • Inuits? they look like wild indians to me...

  • so its it bad to call an inuit an eskimo?

  • no because an eskimo is an inuit

  • I think the music is from somewhere in Africa? A totally different climate and culture...

Thanks to global warming, Nunavut (our land) is changing so fast it's scary.

  • 3 points:

    1~yeah... as she said before: Inuit~plural, Inuk~singular...

2~winters 'are' cold up there! and sometimes reaches temperatures of between -60 and -80 *C during Blizzards.

and 3~ the lamps were actually made out of soapstone and lit with oil from the fat of seal with some sort of moss or plant mixed in it (not just seal lamps as it said)

PS~the music does 'not' suit it at all... maybe if traditional Inuit music was added to it :)

  • just to let you know we are not called 'Inuit's' we are called 'Inuit' Inuit is already plural. One person is called an 'Inuk' I'm not sure if this a kids project but maybe they should have had actual Inuit music instead of whatever this is?
