  • change the song man, that's some sad shit

  • The best part about Barry... is that he didn't let the media treat him poorly. He basically gave the media a big "fuck you" his whole career and that's something I respect. They treated his Dad poorly and they came at him with no respect... and he never backed off.

Barry is the freaking man. Best... Ever...

  • Glad to see a tribute video of Barry Lamar Bonds. One of the best sluggers of my time and my favorite baseball player ever.

  • @JeanCarloDF100 same here

  • Did this guy really make a video of Barry Bonds, with slow music? LOL

  • he should've stayed in Pittsburgh

  • Barry Bonds is the greatest!

  • the best baseball player ever

  • Bonds has money, popularity, and baseball talent. He also has arrogance, hostility, bad-sportsmanship, many enemies, a scandal record, broken marriages, and no integrity. After studying him, reading interviews and books about him, and doing homework about him, he'll only be remembered as a jerk and a cheater.....He finally achieved his his dream at becoming the greatest hitter, but look at what it cost him. He's fallen from grace.

  • @phillyfanatic25 if you studied him in the least, you'd know that the statement "he'll only be remembered as a jerk and a cheater" is absolutely false. barry had THE greatest swing of all time, and was the all-around greatest player of all time hands down. if you want to debate me on this then do it, but i'm standing by this until the day i die

  • @mothahen123 The best seasons (45+ homeruns) was during/after Bonds was accused of doing steroids. He got big muscles unusually fast, as well as other physical signs. He's not a power-lifter or a bodybuilder; he's a performance-enhancing drug junkie. Players and former teammates have testified against him, he's been called out many times, and nobody likes or respects him. Stop kissing Bond's butt and look at the evidence.

  • @phillyfanatic25 look at the list of steroids users. you need more than muscles to hit a ball the way he did. in fact, muscles hardly help in the least if you knew anything about baseball. studies had been done that suggest steroids add less than eight additional feet to a homerun ball, and everybody knows a majority of barry's balls went a lot further than eight feet over the fence. you're in the group of people that blindly reads that he took steroids, and assumes that that negates his records

  • i told every body i know barry did not know what his trainer gave him . barry i was be hind you all the way i have been a your fan sents your collage day's & then you went to pittsburgh piratres then your skip jim leland was in the worng my grand frather told me i am going to be a giant's fan 4 ever then your god grandfather told you to come to he giants org . thank you for all the memery's to me your are still one of the killer bee's barry #24 piartes & #25 giants

  • The Greatest to ever play the game

  • I love Barry for one main reason... he stood up to the media and gave them a big "F-you" when they treated him unfairly. Sure, the steroid era brought about plenty of questions, but the media was relentless and took it too far. They treated his Dad like crap and obviously he knew it.

He just got in the zone and said "fuck everyone... you can kiss my ass". That's the definition of a competitor.

  • TITLE: "Thank you Barry!! (A Barry Bonds Tribute)" wtf are you thanking him for, using steroids cheating lieing and hitting more home runs then players who did it clean, how about no thank you

  • Sure, steroids doesn't help your hand-eye coordination; but it does help you launch a ball literally out of the stadium many times; and who knows if HALF those balls wouldn't be home runs if he wasn't juicing. Barry Bonds is a CHEATER. Not to mention 99% of his teammates hated him because he wasn't a team player. He was out for himself. He should NOT be in the Hall of Fame. Mark Magwire, Sami Sosa, Roger Clemens, (all cheaters) should not and will not be in the Baseball Hall of Fame.

  • all accomplished using ROIDS smfh

  • Barry Bonds is still my favorite player I miss him playing for the Giants

  • I take back the black people thing no all of them are supporting bonds ha and is no racist thing I am boricua

  • yankee fans are morons idiots hasshole estupids and a bunch of bitches

  • People who defend barry bond are two kind the black people and san fransisco and pirates fans the rest see the thruth cheater sorry for the sight im puerto rican

  • Babe ruth didit on hot dogs and berr not steroid and the clear

  • @JustinVerlander35 ya they do...

  • @RVD420RVD No they don't.....

  • Steroids don't give you the ability to walk 2,558 times. Steroids don't give you the ability to be a eight-time gold glover, or steal 514 bases. Bonds was a HoFer before he did roids, and is easily the greatest player I have saw in my 20-years on this earth. I only wish he could of broke Hank Aaron's record cleanly and didn't scar his reputation as bad as he did by taking roids.

  • @JustinVerlander35 exactly, steroids cant do any of those, just look at his stats in the 90's, hof stas...

  • im from new york. im a yankee fan. steroids didnt help rondell white or mike cameron hit 762 homers. ur a retard dude bonds stats in the 90s are clearly hall of fame worthy stats.. i guess over 30 homers and hitting over 300 doesnt cut the hall of fame in your world. Sorry Bonds couldn't win the cy young and mvp in the same year.

  • @jdred31 ....you're right, he already had hall of fame stats before he started juicing. However, the guy had his best offensive seasons in his LATE 30's!! That just does not happen without the use of steroids. He was a shoe-in hall of famed, no doubt, but there is no way he would've hit that many home runs without steroids.

  • @jstarks123 Willy Mays had one of his best seasons when he was 40. Was he on roids? I'm not denying that roids could of played a factor in his later years. All my point was he was still a great pre-roids. I'm not trying to cover up for the fact he did take roids. I hope Bonds never makes it to the hall. I just don't like people saying that he was a bad baseball player and roids are the only reason why he was great.

  • @JustinVerlander35 ...I hear what you're saying. As far as Willie Mays, if you look at his stats, his last great season was in 1966 when he hit 37 homers. He was about 34 or 35. His best season after that was in 1970 when he his 28 homers and batted about .290. So Mays definitely did not have one of his best seasons at age 40. He started to decline around 36 years old, which is when a player should start to decline. This was the age at which Bonds started to drastically improve!

  • @jstarks123 Willie in 1971 may of not had his best offensive season but he did lead the league in OBP and walks that year. I mean you can't take anything away from his 1970 season either. .291/.390/.506, to go along with 28 HRs and 83 RBIs, and he was 39. You cannot deny that wasn't a great season at an old age.

  • @JustinVerlander35 ...you're absolutely right, that was a great season...for his age. But 28 homers at 39 years old is different than hitting over 60 homers at that age. That's the only point I was trying to make.

  • @jstarks123 Totally agree my friend. When I talk about Bonds I talk strictly pre-roids era.

  • @JustinVerlander35 I like your page bro. I can tell you are a real baseball guy. I took a look at some of your videos, very cool. I have a ton of Yankees stuff from the early 1960's (yearbooks, programs, ticket stubs). I see you're a Tigers fan. Al Kaline is actually going to be at an autograph signing here in Jersey that I plan on attending next weekend. Anytime you wanna talk baseball, let me know!!

  • @jstarks123 Thanks man!! Baseball is one of my biggest passions in life. Funny you should mention old Yankee stuff, Mickey Mantle is my all-time favorite player. I'm also trying to become a sports writer; if you ever want to read my stuff let me know. I'd love to BS about some baseball man!!! I'll throw you a sub,

  • @JustinVerlander35 Barry Bonds didn't take steroids dumbass!!!

  • @jason60152 LOL, alright man.

  • @JustinVerlander35 .... you're correct. however, many of those walks were due to the fear that pitchers had in his home run ability, and his home run ability was greatly magnified by his steroid use. That cannot be argued. Come on, the guy had his BEST offensive seasons after the age of 36!! This is ridiculous. He was a GREAT player, no doubt. But he never would've put the offensive numbers he did without steroids. I don't know of too many people who would disagree with that.

  • @JustinVerlander35

    Yep Barry Bonds the GOAT.

  • @JustinVerlander35 Your only 20 yrs. old? Than you don't know crap. Quote: Steroids don't give you the ability to walk 2,558 times. If you hit extra base hits at an unreal level, than indirectly they do; managers and pitchers know this. Compare his walk stats with the Pirates and his walk stats on roids and how do they match?

  • @JustinVerlander35 Its ironic You cite his gold glove stats and steals because he would have had more of them had he not beefed up with cheating roids that diminish the integrity of the game and those aspects of his game.

  • @JustinVerlander35 Aaron who grew up in the jim crow south and was not the son of a pro athlete IS a man of integrity and honor and not a sorry human being. Well see how great roids era Bonds is when his health deteriorates and the steroid use catches up to him in his later years; and Bonds would have never broken Aaron's record, let alone crossed 550, had it not been for the juice. You might as well deny O.j. Simpson's guilt! How sad to admire this dishonorable man.

  • @JustinVerlander35 i could not have said it better myself. you said exactly what i had in mind. good to see there is other baseball fans who have a brain.

  • youd be surprised how blurry the line is between what you can do and what you cant in mlb, and i can guarentee they do anything they can without failing the tests, barry bonds did cheat. so did a lot of hitters, thats still a lot of home runs..

  • Cheater

  • I haven't watched The Giants since they froze him out..Thanks for the memories Barry

  • Theres good hitters then theres Barry Bonds. Thanks you Barry for hitting those dope using pitchers how you did.

  • fantastic video thanks

  • barry bonds = superman

  • @jesse0576 He did cheated, who the fuck hits 73 homers at age *36* with out taking drugs? hmm, ill wait. Great player tho.... god damn give it up for the godfather.

  • @FlashyLifeTV Barry Bonds is the Michael Jordan of baseball.Stop hating!!

  • LOL @ ppl who say " ok he used steroids to get stronger but his 800 steals is real!" lol fucking dumbasses . So, steroids make ur muscles stronger, and last time I checked, legs had muscles!

  • drug cheat

  • fuck, i miss how the stadium would just LIGHT UP every time you heard the "right sound" come off his bat. it would give me chills when i was there.

  • Bonds is a baseball God

  • Awesome videos, Bonds = best hitter ever.

  • Cheater!

  • BARRY UR THE BEST FORGETT WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS SAYING UR NUMBER ONE FOREVER, A LEGEND BEYOND LEGENDS

  • Greatest player of all time. However, Bonds was at his best in the early and mid 1990s. Perfect combination of speed and power. Most exciting athlete ive ever seen play. I live in Seattle and Bonds was more exciting to watch and better than K Griffey Jr. Only baseball player I have ever seen who can truely put a team on his back and carry them.

  • Bonds is the MAN !!!!!!!!!

  • bonds was a great giant i loved watching him play most exciting player i've ever seen in person the giants

  • I guess steroids also helped him strike out very few times. Made his eyes muscles see things in slow motion? Has he tested positive before? Im glad all the sports except for boxing are doing blood testing. Which is the best way to test these new modern PEDS, these peds can easily pass the urine test.

  • @alexg3715 I'm pretty sure boxing does blood testing too my man.

  • @TreyMMA Only blood work they do in boxing is a CBC, HIV. Other than that they do a urine prior and after the fight Only person that wants to do a drug test is Mayweather. Thats why the fight between Manny and mayweather is not happening. Manny wants a 24 day cut off day till fight night drug testing mayweather doesnt. I believe he wants 5 days cut off. wonder why manny wants testing to stop 4 weeks prior to the fight.

  • @alexg3715

wonder why you're such a faggot minding pacquiaos business.. most normal people wonder why a slick black american fighter who claims to be the best fighter in the world is asking for EXTRA testing just to fight a midget, and wont fight without it? now that pacquiao agreed to his faggoty requests, he wants an impossible bigger share.. lol What's more Amazing is there are actually some faggots who believe mayweather will fight pacquiao. lol

  • @alexg3715

steroids makes your eyes see things in slow motion?? bwahahahahahaha so thats what idiots really think? lol maybe we can roid up american fighter pilots before battle huh? lol man your little brain is amazing!! hahahaha lets make an experiment faggots, why dont you roid up the best baseball players around you and see if they are near a barry bond, & roid up the best boxers in america and see if they can beat pacquiao. c'mon lets do it

  • @pinoysunoy Oh my god. What an idiot u are, this is a baseball posting here not boxing. Its about Barry Bonds not boxing. U truly are an idiot. Go to a boxing website.

  • @pinoysunoy Pretty sad i stopped talking to your ass a month ago. And u followed me to a Barry Bonds posting to talk about boxing. STALKER STATUS. No need to argue with an idiot who thinks muscle weight is easier to loose than fat weight. Anybody alse agrees tha is sad that a guy followed me to a baseball posting to talk about boxing??

  • Regardless of steroids he is still one of the greatest to play of all time. Steroids do not give you 500 steals, 8 gold gloves, one of the quickest bats and best eyes of all time. They allow you to hit the ball harder and farther. Steroids had nothing to do with his almost career .300 avg and all the stats listed above. Ask guys like Neifi Perez, Marvin Bernard, and Jeremy Giambi, they do not turn average guys into future Hall of Famers.

  • he still sucks

  • I've gotta baseball bat and baseball signed by Barry Bonds both blue and White and I don't even support baseball

  • Best hitter ever period. The whole MLB was juiced fair game yes pitchers were juiced freakin bat boy was juiced and by the way he hasn't been proved for taking shit so fuck everyone saying * next to his records all sports are juiced

  • bonds is the man, sweetest swing i've ever seen. who cares if he did steroids, they all did.

  • Interesting how people referred to ATT Park as a ballpark designed for Barry Bonds to hit balls out back then. Today it is considered a graveyard where no hitter wants to go play because of the deep alleys, wind factor blah blah. Interesting....

  • cheesy*

  • The music is pretty Chessy, but this is an excellent video. I don't care what anyone say, Bonds had the sweetest swing of any baseball player I ever saw. Epic. Magnificent

  • steroids, steroids. Barry Bonds is horrible. So is the song for this crappy tribute to a crappy player.

  • @TheBestboys4 hahahhahahahahhahaha youre a little bitch ass iditiot he has the best hand i cooradtintation in the fucking game! and multiple golden gloves and MVPs dumbass bitch

  • Bar-oids! Bar-oids! Bar-oids!

  • barry is why i played baseball and i was good i had the most home runs in my conference and he was the one i looked up to and i hit a walk off home run to win state and the number on my back was the number 25!

  • Your all a bunch of jealous shits. bet none of you jealous boys ever hit a home run with a wooden bat over 400 feet

  • i wasnt aware steroids made your hand-eye coordination better than everybody that ever played the game

  • A person uses steroids to get better, faster, and hopefully get endorsements that are bigger than the salary that they get from the team. His stats have been consistent throughout, except for faster. He could have been Gatorade, coke, and pepsi...... Barry only cared about the pitcher he faced...and thats called going to work.

  • there are 22 haters on Barry Bonds... Thats 22 people that have no life.. Thats 22 people that the world doesnt need!!

  • @RiBiViAn BONDS USED STEROIDS

  • @RiBiViAn No Barry Bonds is somebody the world of baseball doesn't need.

Hank Aaron: The real home run king.

Roger Maris: The real single season home run king.

  • @southparkfan2717 you're a fucking tool; steroids doesn't help you out that much, and Hank Aaron took speed before every game to improve his reflexes. Barry was the greatest player ever to play this game and you just need to accept that and stop whining

  • @18MattCain Yes it does. Why else have home run averages dropped so much. And why else was McGwire crying so much and apologizing to the Maris family.

  • @18MattCain Wow maybe it is true about how smug you San Fransisco people are.

  • @southparkfan2717 damn right we're smug, we are just that awesome that it is impossible not to be smug

  • @bbucini good video dude...theres no where to watch old baseball highlights so this is cool

  • Its not easy for me to use steriod

  • the person below me is a fag

  • good video horrible song

  • Barry was the most self centered man to ever play the game. He cared only about his own stats. He did whatever he had to do to be the best. I can respect that. I can't respect on how he made himself the best. Today, Barry Bonds is remembered as the guy to steal Hank Aarons home run record. He is the most hated man in baseball. For the people commenting on this video supporting Barry Bonds, you can't deny he cheated. Hands down. I will never respect that man.

  • @hockeyhenry619 First of all. He wasn't anthing like that he didn't sign anthing because he was afraid of them turning around and selling it. And if he was so self centered how come he went to every 2010 World Series game just to watch his team win? He may have taken steriods and i can respect how you don't like him because its your opinion, but Barry was a nice man.

  • Who isn't on juice in baseball these days? MLB want its players to get bigger and stronger by any means possible, but not get caught. Fans want more home runs and MLB knows it! Besides, why is this guy held up to the fire when so many other athletes cheat. Steroids aren't the only thing considered cheating. How does Tiger Woods get away with getting eye surgery so he has super human vision (20/15) in a game that depends heavily on depth perception? Some would call that an unfair advantage..

  • this song is gay as fuck

  • That was an awesome tributer to the great Barry Bonds! Thank you, :^) B

  • BEST. PLAYER. EVER.

  • Ruth did it on hotdogs and beer

  • @USCisgay WORD AND BONDS DID IT ON NEEDLES AND PILLS

  • yea he was a hall of famer before steriods to bad he will never get in but the best player of his era is ken griffey jr. even with all the injuries he still hit 630 home runs

  • juice head

  • bonds was a god, plain and simple. nothing like watching a bonds AB because you knew without a doubt that everyone knew he was about to do something big and he did at a higher rate than anyone

  • @NcD24 what are you talking about? of course there is such thing as a tainted record, cheating is cheating. people get pissed off because it is a proven fact that he took steroids which not only increase muscle size but also stamina and adrenaline so its not only making it easier for him to drive the ball further but increases his consistency in being able to do so. its not natural and therefore not fair.and its disappointing because you cant take away the record even though he doesnt deserve it

  • i find it a tad bit sad for him that just two-three years after he stopped playing for San Fran they finally win a title after a long time....that must slightly hurt

  • @LMLR187

they should have won it before but the pitching choked in the last 2 games harder than anyone has ever choked. he did his part and then some in the world series he got to play in, about all you can do.

  • IM not a fan of the Giants but i have to give it to barry he is the best. GO YANKS

  • Great effing video kid!! 5 stars! Good music to go w/it.

    Barry = G.O.A.T.

  • The most complete player not named Willie Mays. To me he's the greatest baseball player to ever played the game.

  • @aNguyen893

willie mays is who taught bonds to NOT trust the media and NOT be the person they wanted him to be. he also taught him how to play ball since he was his godfather.

i'd find it odd if bonds wasn't great having a very good MLB dad and a godfather that was an MLB legend. how can you not absorb enough awesome to be an all-star at least

  • I personally couldn't give a shit if he did steroids. I just like good numbers.

Besides, some of the pitchers he homered off did performance drugs too...what are you going to do, pretend the home runs didn't happen?

  • Good job on this video

  • I am willing to bet that 60-85% of these people who make excuses and defend Barry for using steroids are the same people who bash A-rod for it. Now I don't defend either of them for it, it's a terrible thing and sad what it did to the sport, but it's so hypocritical for people to be OK with Barry doing it but bash the shit out of A-rod for it.

  • @GTAMoviesAndFlix I'm a Yankees fan and am ashamed of A-Rod's usage and firmly believe he should not be admitted into the Hall of Fame, just like Bonds. Both were tremendous players who soiled their careers with PED usage. People who say "well everyone did steroids in the 90s so its ok" have no respect for the legacy of baseball. Even worse are those who say "well Bonds was really good so his PED usage isn't so bad because he was amazing anyway."

  • @tachikoma747

what legacy of baseball? the "white only" years babe ruth got to play in? the steroids and amphetamines that hank aaron and all of his peers played on? the steroid era that was really over 30 years of baseball?

you're like everyone else, you like to read your own opinion. baseball was better then in my opinion. barry bonds was the best ever and his numbers prove it. you can say what you want, but you can show me numbers to back it up, that's the thing

  • @sulmithgreysin Please show me proof that Aaron was on illegal substances. And "whites only" years that Ruth got to play in? Are you insinuating that the records and legacies of men like Ruth should not be taken into consideration because he was not allowed against blacks? Look at men today like Albert Pujols who are playing with integrity and decency. The entire steroids era was such a disgrace but Bonds was in many ways the crowning achievement of the steroids age.

  • hahaha 0:11 was such a bomb that they changed the score before it landed. hands down the best hitter of all time

  • 232 Walks in 2004 at age 39. Steriods or not this man was on another planet.

  • This guy has no shame.

  • Steroids were the best thing that ever happened to MLB.

  • R.I.P the real record

  • barry wouldnt approve of this gay music. so wouldnt anyone else. fail.

  • @12000gage how badly do you wish you could form a proper sentence?

  • @johnhebert88 as bad as u wanna stop bein a fag which isnt much. faggot.

  • @FridgeFan72 it really doesnt matter when he gets 500 hrs and 500 steals before he took steiroids

  • Barry and his dad Bobby were great players, but Barry was the greatest to ever play the game.

  • he is a fukin monster with a bal omg

  • barry is the G.O.A.T hes the only 500-500 man theres not even a 400-400 guy if hes not the best then who is? dont tell me how u feel just state FACTS!!!!!!

  • song plz!!!

  • ummm do you guys remember when barry bombs fliped off the center fielder

  • To the cheater comment below: If Bonds did, prove to me that PED's help. I want someone, anyone. Some sports talking head Mthr Fker to PROVE beyond any DOUBT that PED's would turn Barry into the greatest ever. 100% Proof. There are no studies. There are no tests. There are no facts to support anyone. It's all conjecture. People need to shut the fk up where Barry is concerned. People are more interested in hating Barry than even trying to provide irrefutable proof that steroid use = HR record.

  • can you imagine being that guy that first grabbed the 756th home run ball.. you would probably get punched in the face

  • Cheater.

  • @hockeyhenry619 fuck u n babe ruth

  • @HITMAN7493 Is that roid rage?

  • @hockeyhenry619 its your momma's dick bitch... leave barry alone.... y do white people do this.... stop hatin n gets money

  • In my Opinon Bonds was the greatest offensive player ever on Film. He may have took stteriods but their was a clear era before and after he was unbelievable. He won gold gloves, stole bases, and even in his 40's was a feared power hitter after the steriods deal. Unfortunately guys like McGwire and Sosa who never would have been great without steriods forced Bonds to become SUPER SHREDDER. He will make the HOF and I think history will look back on him with favorable views.

  • @NcD24 We don't want to accept reality? Bonds would have been a good player if he didnt use steroids, but now he lost all respect from any baseball fan who isn't a moron. Bonds is now a cheater who got his stats carried by steroids. Not only that, but he lied in court. Learn to accept that his 762 homeruns aren't based on his own skill, but his ability to pump himself full of steroids. It's ok though. I'll laugh my ass off when he's in prison.

  • @nyy22592 Actually "good player" is understating it. He was already looking at the hall of fame before he started using.

  • @demonhoopa He most likely would have without them, but now he won't

  • @nyy22592 You may be right. Or if he does, it will take a LONG time instead of the first ballot induction he probably would have gotten if he would have passed on the juice.

  • @demonhoopa I seriously doubt he'll make it at all though. So many people dislike him now and these purgery charges, he's not really helping himself.

  • @asacco121021: people say he started juicing up in 1999, so the 8 all star games, 2 MVP awards, 8 gold gloves and 7 silver slugger awards all before this steroid stuff took place was because of the steroids he would take later? know some facts before you say stuff that makes you look completely stupid. Also, he went against pitchers that were roided up too like gagne and clemens so theres no way you can say the pitching used to be better when in the roid era 1/2 the league threw upper 90s

  • @pmdoddify hes was a hall of famer regardless but he was NOT on track to hit that many homeruns and he was on roids when he broke the record. the '99 season he hit .260 with like 30 homers and was 34. obviously he was declining and then 2 years later hit 73 at the age of 36! im sorry but he dosent deserve the record he was a 30 to 40 homerun guy and thats all. he never even hit 50 without roids and he would have kept getting worse. he would have still been a hall of famer. he lost all respect.

  • @pmdoddify You sound pretty stupid too man, Gagne is a closer who pitches one inning, how many match ups did they have over there career? Maybe 20. Also Clemens played only 2 and a half seasons in Houston, so they didn't see each other much either. Also Every team now has at least 5 guys who can hit 95+ on the gun. Bond's career season was at 28, in his prime. Then Mcguire and sosa took away the spotlight so he planned his revenge. If those 2 bums could be hero's then Bonds would be a god.

  • yea roids might help you stay in top shape but the truth of the matter is you still have to hit 90+ mile an hour fastballs by major league pitching and you still have to be coordinate an have a great eye and discipline at the plate. its just like when someone gets 2020 laser eye surgery does that make him or her a cheater at whatever it may be. come on now bonds was the best hitter of all eras and i people need to realize it

  • @shamukes Roids increase vision and hand eye coordination. Most people don't realize this. Bonds was a great hitter though, not arguing that.

  • @shamukes Listen man steroids won't make me a ball player but they will make a regular player amazing and an amazing player unstoppable. He's a cheater, does he deserve to be in the hall of fame? Yes , but for everything before 1999. All his other numbers should be thrown out. He is an amazing player but he also gave the sport a black eye and the single season home run record will always be tainted. Nobody will ever hit 62 not to mention 74.

  • @keenanmartens Hey don't blame Barry Bonds they shoulda been testing for it so I think it's more the leagues fault then Barry Bonds. They had to know but people wanted to see these kind of players because baseball wasn't as fun until you seen Mark Mcquire and Sammy Sosa hitting homeruns.I think they knew about the steroids but kept it hush since they were raking in more money, then when people started snitching like Jose Canseco then the league had to take action and the feds got involved.

  • @jason60152 What do you mean Don't blame Barry? He was the one who said fuck the fans fuck the game, I'm going to take a wrecking ball to everything the fans hold dear. Do you understand there will never be another homerun chase ever. That's it. Bonds killed it. 2 men in the last 100 years have hit 60 or more home runs, nobody will ever come close now so I hope your happy he ruined it forever.

  • @keenanmartens Nobody was gonna ever be in the homerun chase anyway. If 2 people in the last 100 years hit over 60 homeruns what makes you think somebody gonna hit over 60?Even if somebody does you can praise that person and say he got the home run title.I'm sticking to Barry Bonds the Black Babe Ruth.

  • @jason60152 Ryan Howard hit 58 like 5 years ago, nobody cared there was no mystique, because he was 15 away from 73. I can't imagine explaining this to my son, "Hey Dad why does Barry bonds have all the records but he's not in the hall of fame?" "Well son he cheated but for some reason we just left the records as a permanent reminder of the shame of baseball." We should bring back the asterisks but put it back on 61 as the true record.

  • @keenanmartens They haven't found him guilty of taking steroids yet so you can't assume he taking steroids till he get convicted.

  • @shamukes Somebody must have watched bigger stronger faster, the difference is lasic eye surgery is legal and everyone can get it if they want. Bonds was a great player but his reall number would be a round .285/ 580 hr/ 1600 rbi. If he stayed clean he would have been a hall of famer but not nearly where he sits now. This guy is a cheater and he ruined the most important records in baseball.

  • every one that says steroids helped Barry is retarded. they do not help you hit a 90+ mph fastball. face it hes a great hitter maybe not a great person but a great hitter. quit crying and face it, he is the homerun KING and thats that.

  • @wutitdo650 he is a great person...my dad's friend john vanderwall played with him for a few years and had nothing but nice things to say about him...he didnt like the media and i dont blame him...ive met him twice and he was nice as hell and my grandma sent him a letter about meeting him and me and my dad got two signed baseballs saying "god bless, barry bonds" this man was my hero growing up and i hate to see all the shit happening to someone who doesn't deserve it

  • @Khower2 He does deserve it, he ruined baseball.

  • @keenanmartens youre sucha a fucking dumb ass prove it right now dumb ignorant bitch

  • @alanturpin97 I'm not the ignorant bitch he admitted using clear and cream from Balco in front of the grand Jury. The government confiscated his drug regiment, and they even have a tape of Greg Anderson talking about the top secret drugs Barry Was doing to beat the baseball drug tests. He is guilty and he was found guilty of perjury the last time he was in court. He is a convicted felon and everything I've said is a fact. Sorry asshole but your hero is a fucking villain.

  • @keenanmartens Bonds has always been my favorite player! IE stand up!

  • @SoCalxHeartbreaker Bonds was my favourite player too, then Griffey came along and blew him out of the water. Bonds was so jealous of Sosa, Griffey and McGwire he had to start juicing. Griffey is the true hero of our generation. All you Barry lovers can go to hell, and take that 73rd homerun ball with you. Any true fan knows that the record is still 61. Bring back the asterisk. 61* is the real deal.

  • @wutitdo650 They do help. And if they didn't help, no one would take it.

That said, he was one of the best hitters I've ever seen before he took them. Wish he wouldn't have gone there.
