    Sounds like a beautiful place.

  • Thank you for making and posting this. Aikido is a beautiful art, I hope I get to visit Iwama in my life time.

  • I'm sure you will if you want it enough.

Iwama is well worth a visit for sure. And for those who study Aikido I'm sure even more so.

'Keep at it' and you'll be walking through Iwama station before you know it.

    Best of luck.

It feels like a bit of the 'old ways'.

Iwama is such a beautiful place.

  • Hi!

Please tell me the name of the song, it is incredible. I'm a new Romanian aikidoka and I started learning about Japanese culture and music. It is incredible! Thanks.

  • Daylight By Kokin Gumi.

One of my favorite songs too..

They've made loads of great music.

    : )

  • thanks for not including aikido. I'm an aikidoka too, and I wanna go to that place, but I needed to see the actual town. So thanks a lot for sharing and informing.

  • My pleasure 100%.

    Glad you liked the clip,

best of luck with your trip to Iwama and the study of Aikido.

    : )

  • Thanks buddy!

This video truly helps when I am badly longing for Iwama. (Most of the time.....!)

  • Very beautiful. thank you for this. I lived in Iwama as an uchi deshi in 1995 and 1996, thank you for bringing back some memories.

    zev

  • KASUMI!!!

  • fantastic video! great views with no humans

i have been to Japan but never Iwama - i

    would like to go there

  • Thanks!

    : )

  • I am going to Iwama next month! (^0^)v

  • subarashii...I have done martial arts for over 30 years, and Budo (Aikido) for 15+. I have travled all over Japan except for a few places. I will go to Iwama soon. There are a few other places like this. So sad, the spiritual dilution Aikido has undergone during it's expansion. Forgot politics totally, get back to the ancient ways with deep makoto...Keiko..onegashiimasu

  • Thanks.

Good luck with your Aikido studies and the trip to Iwama.

  • Thank you for sharing! I really enjoy the subjects you select for your videos. The camera angles you use capture settings very well and give the eye many pleasant things to take in. In this video I especially liked the scene with the water flowing in the channel. The shadows in the foreground provided a nice contrast and I could almost imagine the sound of water. Thank you very much for sharing this with us! -Kurt :-)

  • Thanks!

    Glad you liked this.

I've enjoyed your videos for a long time now. About time I gave something back.

    : D

  • I agree, it is like going back in time in some areas of town.

    Very still and low key.

    Happy you enjoyed the clip.

  • God i miss that place so much. Most peaceful place on earth.
