This might be a question that metalheads throughout time have always pondering and well, this is one of those times:
I understand bands need to play songs that fans "NEED" to hear but after so many yrs of the same material... cant a band decide to play what they feel if the
fan overall loves the band?
Atleast 1 tour let the band pick whatever to play I mean its not like the last tour ever and they've played the older material so much it can be found in vast played.
You should play songs you've never played before at least once and see how the fans react to it. IMO I would love just about any song because they're all so awesome. But I would like to hear like the first version of Shadowchild (Shadow Child) realeased on your EP or something. And Mercury Shadow in Swedish
(Kvicksilver) is fucking awesome. And songs on the demo In Dreams We Fall Into The Eternal Lake. Those are awesome aswell
I'd love to see Soilwork one day do a bunch of tours with no Stabbing the Drama, no Rejection Role, no As We Speak, no Nerve, etc, and instead replace them with stuff like The Aardvark Trail, Mindfields, Asylum Dance, Figure Number Five, Spirits of the Future Sun and other underrated songs. Also, perfection would be achieved if they opened it all with Entering the Angel Diabolique!
Saw them at Slims and they were amazing!!! I cant wait til they come around again...
