@Alageegee its Janet, the uploaded just mistook this version for Shontelle's and posted as so. Your "vs." video comparing the versions confirms it too. They do sound somewhat alike but Janet has a R&B/soul tone to her voice and as a longtime Janet and PLAY fan its very distinct and different from Shontelle's. Unfortunately Lisledl is either in denial or cant tell the difference between two different versions.

Singers get hired all the time to do demos for other singers to see if they want to record the song themselves for an album; it isn't against the law. You can definitely tell the difference between each version - watch this video /watch?v=aC_Xi8406Xg (its Janet's version vs Shontelle's) I've been a Janet fan for almost 8 years, she has a distinct tone. I know you want this is to be Shontelle's but its not.
