I have a 2012 tech & style Veloster, wife has a 2011 Sonata and mom has 2012 Elantra. I traded a 6cyl 2001 VW Jetta, wife sold her 2000 Honda Accord and mom now parks her 2004 Chevy Tahoe. Hyundai offers a 10yr 100k power train and a 5 year 50k bumper to bumper warranty out of the gate. Also Hyundai's are priced less than Nissan, Honda and Toyota.

Everyone Who says Hyundai isn't a reliable car I have an 04 Elantra gt with 175,000 miles on it and have been in 3 front collision accidents in it and have had no problems with my car the only thing I've had to change was my alternator so there's an example of how reliable their cars are

Hyundai and Kia have just discovered their design method that works and fits for them. It's very similar to Cadillac, and how they use boxy grilles and light.

So you could also say: "Hey is that a CTS, no I think it's an STS, no wait a minute I think it's a DTS.

@bigdi77 You'll be paying 15%-30% more for essentially the same tech and specs (Azera vs A5? A6?) but money gets you more fun sometimes. I personally find German cars as more snobby than fun, but nice cars. I find the value and quality in Hyundai thrilling though. It just seems smarter.

@mkyumae14 I feel what you saying but I look at things long term the a6 and a5 will hold up better and keep they value more then hyundai.I have an a8 2006 and its still holds its value. and I seen a 2009 hyundai genesis for 19k and thats not good for a 50k car

@bigdi77 There's a lot of factors in resale value, including initial price...in any case the value goes down 50% the second it's off the lot. If you're going to pay 15%-30% more for an Audi it's logical to expect 15% - 30% in resale value. That said, 19k for a 09 Genesis probably isn't a certified used car...probably has lots of problems...also the Genesis goes from 36k to 46k...you maybe off by 4k-14k. If it's the 36k base, then 19k isn't too bad, but still too cheap. May be a lemon.

@rororooster Hyundai is going to be starting up their luxury brand in 2 years and will be moving the Genesis and Equus over to whatever the new brand will be called, also new cars will be added to that new hyundai brand. there was an article on the subject over at autoblog. in 2 years the genesis and Equus will be due for a make over so makes sense for them to wait till then.
