what can i do to get out of riding it??please please please please help me. i have to be with a certain amount of people at all times, so i cant just wait in line and then not go on it. also what parts should i close my eyes at if i do go on? can i just bring my ipod on it? should i just keep my eyes closed the whole time?will i be ok if i just close my eyes the whole time?PLEASE HELP ME IM BEGGING!!!!! thanks sooooo much

@dancergracie12 If you say you get dizzy easily, don't go on because it shakes you around quite a bit. If you get dizzy by simply looking down in the car, I definitely do not recommend you go on. It's loads of fun and it's really worth the wait, but if you're not into harry potter, and on top of that get dizzy easily, I wouldn't go on. Just tag along with your friends until you have to get onto the actual ride and enjoy the gorgeous interior of the castle :)

HELP!!!!! im going here soon with my school. my group wants to go on this ride. ive never been on it and i've never seen any harry potter movies. i really really reallly dont want to go on it because im going to probably cry, pass out, throw up, or get a migraine. i get migraines from imax movies and looking at books, or phones while im in the car. i dont think i should go on it, but my group wants me too. i don't know some of the people in the group and i dont want them getting irritated.HELPME

@yourock990 Nope, it never actually goes upside down. The most the arm does is tilt the chair so that you are lying on your back (possibly even a few degrees more) but that's it. They've slowed some of the motions down too to my understanding Guests are reporting even less motion sickness.

wow, that happened to us before, we where stopped when the ride turns sideways so we we just lying down, looking at the dragons clawmarks in the wall, when it started again right where the dragon comes out and sprays you, bad timing XD

Can someone paint a picture for me? I close me eyes everytime Aragog Pops up i know to close them after the dragon and open them when Hermione says "Watch Out For The Whomping Willow!". But what does the spider room look like? Is there a screen with Hermione on it saying the spell and look out for the whomping willow? What is around Aragog?

@Imagineer5986 It's part of the Forbidden Forrest, with trees everywhere and then spiders hanging from the ceiling, lowering themselves closer to your vehicle using their spider silk threads. Hermoine does indeed make an appearance before the Whomping Willow. She is projected onto a screen similar to how the she was in the DATDA classroom scene in the queue.

@LexiTheShortOne sure does! seats 2 and 3 (the middle ones) get hit the most. There is also a part right around when Hermoine tells you to get out of the forest that another bit of water gets sprayed. Same seats are primarily affected for that one.

the elevator has three landings

1-ride track area

2-exit to the store

3- loading zone

there u have it, notihng secret about it, not that amazing anymore huh

@italiano100 True, I never really was all that amazed by the elevator. My biggest curiosity was from a design / engineering perspective to see how they would work that portion of the ride into and back out of the existing main track. While it isn't a secret, most guests will not get to experience the ride from that vantage point. Though having ridden both, I much prefer the main loading area for loading and unloading.

Nice Video! All tho that comment about the Private loading area it's not so private... It's designed for people who can't stand on moving platforms and that is where they load instead!! I got to try it once and yes the 3rd floor is locked I wonder where it goes..

@justinj60 Very true :) It's their ADA platform, but they also sneak their VIPs through it to avoid the general public. I've gone through it 3 times now (total ride count over 20 haha), though I must admit I'm not as big of a fan of how it starts as they have to chop the intro to get you into the first scenes. As far as the 3rd floor corridor, in this castle, it leads through Ravenclaw's tower.

@sander0314 idk they mite open it up later on. ay but yea tif they did let you walk all over the castle the brdges are a liabilty. so they mite think of something.

Actually, you won't be able to walk around the castle on top. It's just a very detailed facade and the bridges are scaled down (they're only about 2 feet wide) so from down below looking up at the castle, it looks full size

@gerryu21220 I did a quick search for royalty-free creative commons music and it was the only thing I even remotely liked. I wanted to replace the audio-track which contained spoken word and wasn't relevant to what I was trying to show in the video.
