Forcier shouldn't have thrown that second to last pass that was dropped. First, he could have ran out of bounds at the one or the two with time for a couple more plays. Second he was lucky the #2 for ND didn't intercept the pass. But in the end it doesn't matter.

The official from the other side of the field waited to throw the flag because there was a closer offiicial who did not throw it and it's common for the farther away official to give the first chance to the closer official. Cissoko was getting owned all day and was grabbing, pulling all day.  Even if the PI call was bad, which it wasn't, it didn't take points off the board.

Apparently you haven't set aside your bias either, seeing as you haven't seen the called-back TDs and yet call them a gift. Objectively, it was poorly officiated on both sides, but the right team deserved to win. You can't blame 38 points of offense and losing the game in the last eleven seconds on the officials...no flags were thrown.

ok. I watched the game. there were two replay angles shown if you watched the game and weren't stoned or drunk or whatever. The poor angle is used in this video. During the broadcast, they showed the down the sideline angle and it was obvious that he was inbounds. Both ABC/ESPN commentators said "I can't see how this can get overturned." Yet, there was something "conclusive" in the mind of the replay official that overturned the TD. Just another chapter of WTF in ND football history.
