This is not a fair comparison. I am surprised no one has noticed or at least commented on it but this test is not flat ground by any means. The VW is going up hill and the Nissan is going down hill. That alone completely throws the test. I am not trying to bash the up loader or anything but come on man.

I was almost sure that Touareg would win. It's heavier, has heavier rear end which gives rear wheels better traction, and finally it has all these high-tech 4x4 features including traction control and so on. Overall I'm surprised that the Navara won! Good one!

No, seriously, I wasn't expecting this. I think Touareg is a bit heavier and therefore it should've won. The next thing is that all these traction control and other electronic systemd really do help on snow or ice. So that's interesting! Good for Navara!
