Castle ESC's are very very good, I am just about to put a pair of these in an MOA rock crawler. they have so many user programmable settings its incredible. they run brushless and brushed. Mate I have had many idiots say something cant be done and made videos just like you have had to just to show them they are wrong. thanks for posting ;-)
I'm planning on running two tamiya rs 540 sport tuned motors in my buggy and do you know how to get one run in reverse and the other one forward do you have to run one with negative to positive and positive to negative is that how and which speed controller could support that. thanks.
Thinking about it, if the motors are running opposite of a single spur, then both motors will be running in the same direction (both positives are the same). I would have to look at the requirements on the voltage and amp rating for the motors before making that call, but you can always send castle and email. They have good tech support.
Cost wise the Frenzy with the sidewinder will be good for the short run. The two motors will have more power than a single brushless 280 motor. The two motors will run really hot though and battery life will suck. The stock motors do not have bearings, so battery life and heat will be more of an issue. You also have to take into consideration the brushes wearing down. Frenzy's are high turn motors, so they're kv comparative rating will be something like 4600kv (guessing).
I have a mlst2 setup for my brother running a single 6800 kv motor 3 or 2 cell lipo. It won't have as much power as dual brushed frenzy's, but it runs really cool in comparison and manages battery life really well. The lower power is much better for the transmission of this truck though. I have a vid posted of this truck with a 6800kv. I think I like it much better than my dual 8000kv which I made a single brushless.

Can brushless esc take brushed motors or not.

Only if they advertise it. The castle's sidewinder esc's can take brushed motor. This is stated on their website.

Hello, do you think they sould be used with sidewinder and lipo or is better to use a single mamba with the sidewinder?
Do you know how many kv run the Franzy?
thanks
