I did discover a way to free roam after finishing..... Open up chapter "Friend of Ours" it starts you at your house with around 8,000 dollars. You have to take Henry with you everywhere or drive slow and make him run. This allows you to have money for weapons and steal and fix all the cars you want. This does show how poorly the game is designed because when you open any door creepy Henry is on the other side some how. I tried everything to leave him behind buy he just appears in the car.

The graphics are amazing, best I've seen, I love the bit where these guys shout up at a window to some girl asking her to come down for a drink and an old lady invites you in for coffee, the realism is amazing, as anyone noticed the graphics are even better in missions. Pc version btw console versions suck in comparison. Some DLC is well needed though way toooo short for a free roam game

YES it is short, yes there could have been some sidemissions. But its still great fun and the story is much, much more believable and sophisticated than GTA4.

And if you like those cool movies like godfather or good fellas - buy it.

Yeah, good thinking! DO buy Red Dead Redemption. You will have way more fun and playtime with RDR. Maybe you will even be able to pick it up for a cheap price, as it's not brand new.

At last, I found a comment saying the same thing, that I think. This is exactly, what's going on with Mafia 2. Everybody has just such a high expectaton of it, but being disappointed, that it's nocht that perfect.

This is the reason why I think of every game, it is just average, so that is has the chance to proofe the opposite => preventing disappointment.

If you have the money, Yes. It is an amazing title with a good soundtrack and story, you feel very involved and they improved on a lot of things from other sandbox games. The world feels alive, and the characters feel personal. I've honestly had no glitches whatsoever so far, and it's game play is pretty solid. Best driving and shooting mechanics in a sandbox thus far. Note it is much more real than others, so you can't take fifty shots and survive. Definite buy though(:

@DrugMan24 HUGE? the only thing i saw that was actually worth while was the bounty hunting, hunting, and MAYBE horsebreaking. idk, but something was missing from it. Eventually, i got bored of everything and just did the story missions, ofcourse i beat it, and the ending was sad. I guess i should've owned gta before this, so i could enjoy the horse riding, but it just felt tiresome to me. Also, the weapons feel hollow, i cant really tell the difference. Finnally, i dont have live, so im stuck.
