that rubbing doesnt irritate your skin? i have one i used on my underarms and it hurt really bad for a couple days, maybe bc the hair is thicker i had to be a little more 'rough', but i havent tried it on my face i was scared after the underarm experience lol
i wouldn't advise anyone to use this to remove facial hair, i had tiny (barely noticable) baby hairs on the sides of my face and out of boredom I stupidly used SILKYMIZ FACIAL Hair Remover to remove them, i now have thicker hairs growing back :( wish i didn't use this. that's not to say the same will happen to you because the result will be different for everyone but i'm just saying :( it would be better to thread or wax instead.
Asalaam Alikum sister. Can you please let me know how to wear the hijaab like you are wearing in this video ? It looks smart and I want to wear it for my job interview. JazakAllah Khair
I use silky mitts for the sides of my face and the top areas on my forehead. A little trick I use for soft areas is putting tons of cocoa butter on the area to reduce any harsh friction (Any moisturiser works just as well) and circling 8 times each way as I have quite stubborn hair. This way my skin ends up silky smooth and so soft and I don't ever get any irritation, I even just give the rest of my face a go just for the exfoliation. Before I thought of this it used to sting so much!
Your hair will grow back the same, It wont get any thicker. I usually thread and on days i cant be bothered, or i have to go out quick and ive got a bit of a tash! lol i would use this. Its not like shaving! and dsnt leave any scars!
infact it leaves ur skin lovely and smooth. So dont worry girls! me and my family+ friends have been using it for years! x
hello I kow that you have a video on how you do your hijab, but I was wondering if you could explain how you do this style specially, is so beautiful. Thanks
No!!! that is a micro sand paper, so it could actually make your skin darker because is like a scar. Is way better to plug. My dermatologist told me this.
i just bought this today from superdrugs (it reminded me of you and i thought why not!) and i'm just a little concerned will the hair grow back thicker and darker? thanks a lot sis x
@laydeeXlethal not in my experience and I have used it for a few years its very easy painless and compact and you can take it any where. I love it so I thought I'd let people know what it's all about and no it did not make my skin darker. I don't understand why people think it would.
you look stunning here (well your gorgeous anyway! , alright for some !)
I didnt like this product at all !, its literally like a sandpaper!, i dont have sensitive skin but it left me feeling sore!, i think il stick to waxing!
thank you sooooo much for this reccomendation :o) i've always wondered whether a pain free hair remover exists lol i will definately try this out coz i hate waxing/threading lol
when u use it the hair grow fast again or the hair is not grow hard because u buy it yesterday i try it on my mom but i don't know it's how long takes to hair grow ???
Salaams Asma, I have really sensitive skin also and I found this thing called Epistick and it is AMAZING. I'm the sort of person who starts tearing from the slights pain and this was so easy to use and effective I definatly would recommend it for anyone who has really sensitive skin because it actually works. Plus u can reuse as many times as you want!
@DreamAngel48 They do. I bought some last week at Walmart. They were in the isle between the pharmacy and the makeup in a little box the same size as what she held up, but it is a different brand. Inside, everything looks the same.
I have this product, but it made my upper lip sooo sore I was doing it gently but it took ages to remove 1 tiny hair..... but dunno might try again ;) x
you look even prettier in this video than you normally do! you are absolutely glowing and I think the animal print scarf looks really glamourous on you :) Keep up the good work with the videos!
I have used the larger version on my lower legs, and it leaves my legs feeling so smooth. Not sure I'd like to sandpaper my upper lip, though - I'd be sure to end up red and sore
i used a big one simular to the one you use in this video on my thights and the hair came out horribly... all stiff... i felt like a man and i was so ashamed.. so i wouldnt even dare to try it on my upperlip.. ill just stick to bleaching.
it didnt work for me ... well ... only the first time ... i did use this on the sides of my face as well .. unfortunately the hair came back .. not harsher .. but slightly thicker i have to say .. and much thicker closer to the temples ... am i making any sense?
I had this thing before, when I was in UK, but I gave up because I got too sensitive skin after using it on my upper lip area and took me so long to get rid of the hair.. I'm quite inpatient :) Good it works for you, it's a good concept. Now I use facial hair remover cream from boots :) (I import it!) It takes 5 minutes, and all the hairs are gone. It leaves your skin a bit red for the following 1-2h but it's temporary. The hair doesn't grown back thick or darker. x x
second to comment! your sooo beautiful asma! your makeup looks amazing and flawless! i also been using this mitt on my upperlip area for a long time. it works well!
pleaseeeeeee do not do itttttttt.th hair will grow super thicker, worse that using the rasor,i did it and i regeted to death
