The new DL red Monorail is nice and if you are in a wheelchair be sure to back into the car because not like the WDW Monorail you can't turn around.

I can't confirm, but I heard that new Mark VII is in passenger service at certain hours.

Thats correct.

They cant run the monorails if its 80 degrees or more outside due to the fact that the cabins have no A/C.

It only runs in the early morning and night.

Well, it won't be long before WDW gets their new monorails now. After all, Walt Disney Worlds monorail system IS the busiest system in the world.

Don't count on it. From my understanding the WDW monorails are still in very good condition. The old DL monorails were falling apart and were very beat up. Also the old DL monorails were in service for 20+ years with out any upgrades until now.

And to replace the WDW fleet would be VERY expensive, especially if its not necessary.

That's true. Now that I think about it, I believe WDW got new momorail trains that could accomidate more people sometime in the early 90's.
