This is frightening: such ignorance of the science which has been established for decades. Confusing local heatwaves with global average temperature, confusing the future peak of climate impact with the point of no return (about now), or just spouting plain nonsense. I suspect this wishy-washy nonsense would fade away in the face of genuine leadership.
