  • i have a maverick 88 and that cant be it. the for end and everything look like it but the shell eject is on the wrong side. or maybe it is and the game developers fudged the details. because i can see the bar safety.

  • Game developers like to invert weapon models these days for some reason. Not all of them, but A LOT of them do. Mossberg does make left-ejector models of the 500, though.

  • To be honest I don't know what a Muzoink is. I dig the gameplay and all the shooting, cool stuff you do.

  • It's just a funny way to say "music." \8-P Otacon237 sometimes calls it "muzak" (which, in its literal meaning, refers to synthesized non-lyrical renditions of acoustic songs) in a sort of slang sense when I use electronic or synthesized music. So to differentiate it just a bit more from true muzak, I started calling it "muzoink." XD

  • Understood. In that case I would have to say I like the "muzak". Reminds me of John Carpenter's music from "Escape From New York" mixed in with a little 80's gaming theme music.

  • Nice shooting...

  • Thoinks! \8-D How'd ye likes the muzoinks?

  • what like game is this?

  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl (v1.0005) with Oblivion Lost mod (v2.2).

  • I find it a little odd that Marked One, a loner, shoots the Maverick 88 better than Scar, even though Scar is a Merc. Maybe its just me.

  • I think they changed it just to make the pumping animation more dramatic. Otherwise, I agree.

  • Marked One is an ex-soldier (most likely).

  • Ooo, never thought of that... Makes sense.

  • Ahahaha i love doing that with Yantar's Snorks! Heheheh. I also like wandering to the Military Warehouses and sniping the monolith that come in from the north.

  • Snork skeet sho0ting is a "blast!" XD But I actually prefer hunting them with a pistol. Any pistol. Any make, model, caliber. Scoring headshots on snorks is just extremely satisfying. My two favorite weapons for hunting snorks are the AKS-74U (set on semi-auto) and the PB 6P9. I watched your Saiga vs. zombie video. What a perfect anti-zombie (or anti-monster in general) weapon! Try it against some izloms!

    }:-D

Note: Have you found the Benelli?

  • Yeah, I always pick it up while defending the trainyard against het bandits. Kanyhalos really picked the perfect location to put it, plenty of vicious CQC fighting just begging for a shotgun's lovin' :D

  • It's usually in trashed condition when I find it. Seriy and Bes usually end up getting wasted by bandits before I can claim my rewards from them. You can take the Benelli back to Sidorivich and get it fixed. Sid also sells a NATO sound suppressor that fits on the TMP (and other 9x19mm machine pistols like the MAC-11 that lo0ks like a MAC-10). He also also sells a suppressor for the FN P90. You can buy P90s from Barkeep after doing enough missions.

  • I havent beat OL yet so a lot of weapons arent available to me yet and i havent gone past the army warehouse. Is the Benelli M3 Short anywhere in the game besides a perk for joining freedom?

  • You can find one laying on the ground in the Wild Territory close to the beginning. It's close to where those Dutyers hang out right in the first area.

  • The Benelli makes a great backup weapon. It would be even better if it had any kind of sight, even a plain bead sight.

  • You'll find them around agroprom or wild territory once in a blue moon.

  • There's also a Benelli in Garbage inside the derelict train depot where you meet Seriy. You know, the place where lone stalkers hang out and fend off bandits. There's a Benelli close to that cabinet on the lower level off to the right when you first enter the depot. There's a diagonal slab of concrete. The Benelli is underneith it.

  • Yay, that's my shotgun! Except mine has a stock and no leaf sights.

  • I wish this one had a stock. And the sawed-off to0. That would justify the sawed-off being a slot-3 weapon.

  • You know what would be an awesome slot-2 weapon? A Serbu Super-Shorty :D

You can change it to slot 2 in that same file you used to change the VAL's capacity, btw.

  • o0gie! \8-D

The Super-Shorty would be keen, but since there's already a Benelli stubgun with a 5-round capacity, that makes the Shorty redundant. Not the sawed-off, though, since it's a double-barrel and not a pump.

  • Redundant yes, but everyone likes a little variety! XD

  • If they made it more wide available than the Benelli, but with slightly reduced stopping power and a bit more spread (due to the 7.5" barrel compared to the Benny's 12.5-incher), that might even them out.

  • To be honest, I'm not too concerned with them being "balanced", that's just a gaming phenomenon and not applicable to real life.

BTW, you know that Gosuke guy that makes all the awesome animations? I went to his site, looks like he's working on a Striker/Street Sweeper. How's THAT for a slot-2 weapon? XD XD

Now that you mention spread, I wonder if you could put a choke on the Serbu. Interchangeable chokes for STALKER would pwn.

  • I'd rather see the 4-round version rather than the Super Shorty. The one with the K-grip. And Striker will be all kinds of pwn (as long as it's not like in RE4).

  • What do you mean? The fact that Leon always reloads 2 rounds regardless of how many he fired, or the fact that he shoots it from the hip? Or that the spread is like 10 square yards? XD

  • All. Plus it holds, what, 100 rounds?

  • LOL, the "upgrade" system. You can upgrade a TMP to hold like 200 rounds, and you can upgrade a Mauser C96 (Red 9) to do more damage than a stock shotgun, lol. On the plus side though you can use the Mauser's detachable stock for more control.

BTW, do you remember the Pancor Jackhammer? I wish started making those again.

  • Hmm, it's like clay pigeons, except backwards.

  • o0mpa lo0mpa do0mitty do0m!! XD

Notice how you can't aim while reloading. \8-( You can sho0t from the hip if you have to, but I don't like to do that. In Killing Flo0r, you can aim even if you're reloading. The reload animation stops and you go into aim mode. In reality, you can aim while reloading. Maybe they felt that would make the game to0 easy. If so, I don't agree. I think it would enhance gameplay mechanics.
