I Love this movie! One of my favs! I always have problem with all the greenery on lawns and trees. Wish Carpenter would have chose actual fall midwest shooting location tho. Halloween time is orange, yellow, red, and brown. This is suposed midwest illinois. Just sayin!

I refuse to call this a horror movie. It's a suspense movie. Maybe the best ever made. The terror lies in the anticipation of what's to come, not what actually happens. No blood, no guts, no special effects. Just a soulless maniac stalking in the shadows and pure unrelenting suspense.

We went on a tour bus, saw things like the real Tarzans home, the driver went on a side tour and took us to the house that Laurie was babysitting Tommy.
