  • I've got this same canoe and love it. I put a 50LB Minn Kota with a deep cycle 900amp battery. I will probably put a 9.9HP on it for next summer. I had this thing loaded with 700lbs of people and camping gear on the columbia river with no issues. Last week I found an easy way to load this boat myself hassle free. Just get some elbows from hardware store that you can tuck under your roof rack. Set the nose first then lift and slide forward...easy to load.

  • I recently bought a coleman scanoe and Im looking to get the same type of seat setup you had here. How well did the mounting brackets work? and would you recommend it to someone else with a canoe?

  • @runeski74 The brackets attach to the seat securely, but I'm worried about it tearing in to the plastic of the canoe seats. I ended up selling the entire outfit. I sold it to a friend, so the next time I see him I'll ask how the seats are holding up.

  • Looove it !!!. When are you going to be away from home ??

Seriously,I'm retired in 2 years and want this baby so were can I get that in the US or Canada.

  • @RETIREMESOON LOL. Unfortunately, I have already sold this thing off. You can get these at Dick's Sporting Goods. Thanks fo watching!
