  • Neo Synephrine. It was allergy season.

  • O MY WHAT WAS THAT SUBSTANCE THAT FELLOW PUT UP HIS NOSE? "SWEET"

  • @britney10able Neo Synephrine. It was allergy season.

  • I've been a parrothead since long before we were called parrotheads -- probably seen JB and the Reefers forty times -- love them -- love the music - love the good times

  • Brilliant guitar work......aaarrhhhh herr BARTLETT you are going to wish you had never put us into so much trouble HANDS UP!!!

  • oh wow...... I remember The Reefer Band playing at the University of West Fla in Pensacola in Jan 1975....... maybe 250 people, in the gym.... Buffet stayed on stage the whole 3 hours while the band took a break. What a great show, and great memories! My roomie & I were out getting coffee the next morning & invited the band back to our dorm for beverages...... (14'x14' dorm room), spacious! That was the year it snowed in the Bahamas! Yeah, we DID look like that then. THANKS for the footage.....

  • Love the peak into how things use to be!

  • FANTASTIC! So Jimmy! and that looked similar to the Country Music Festival Venue in Baton Rouge that you and the Reefers and Fingers used to play at. The outdoors arena affect. Super!

  • such a good band

  • Incredible old home movies of Jimmy touring his arse off back in the day. I have never seen this before. After reading so much about him and his life. It's nice to have a visual reference to everything I read and gives me real insight to how it was for him back then. Thank you for posting.

  • needs to have a consort in nc at the rbi centurea

  • 'These Songs Will Never Sell'

  • Wow where can I see more of this stuff been parrotheads way before the salt even had a dream come true one year in 81 played on stage (cheeseburger)

  • Keep on going Jimmy. You & I are the same age, and I've been a Parrothead since before there were Pheads. I think we were just called boat bums back then. There was the sea, women, boat drinks, etc.. I don't remember what we did for music before you came along.

I always just take it for granted that you're coming back with another tour....thanks for all the great shows so far. Looking forward to the BIG TOP TOUR this year.

  • Wish I were there........

  • There is lot more to the story than just playing in the stairwell. He had to call the cops on me! I never got to thank him for that. If he had not done that, I would not be here today. I was very lucky that he did what he did.

  • I have to wonder if Fingers Taylor remembers playing the harp in the stairwell of the dorm and USM in Hattiesburg in 1972!!

  • @misujry I'll ask him next time I see him.

  • Wow! Sarah here! The very first, original Mrs. Fing.

Roger, thanks for posting this, talk about flashback!

I was looking for something with my 17 year old son and the video came up! He really about lost it because that's how old I was in the video!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Those must've been the days! As one of Jimmy's songs says, "Ahh, the stories we could tell" The music is great.

  • What song is being played?

  • Lickety Split is the first song, off Roger Bartlett's new album "Groovey Boy." Dixie Diner is playing during the concert sequence from the "Reunion... Live at the Windjammer" CD, and Groovey Boy, from the album mentioned above, at the end of the video.

  • Didn't have permission to use any of Jimmy's songs.

  • Excellant piece on Buffet, he`s great,

I think we all need to get on a road trip!!

    Chill.

  • oh did I ever use to love Jimmy Buffet

  • He's still great. You should check out his new stuff. I think his album, "Take the Weather with You" is one of the best he's ever done.

  • THANK YOU! Great vid!

  • The Soul Pumpkin is in our thoughts every day, especially on Aug. 1, 2009 while listening to the Mad Beach Band at the Newport Opera House in Newport, NH. I don't know where I'ma gonna go when the volcano blows! We miss you Harry!

  • Roger, I am glad I found this. The last photo I have of Harry was when he was best man at my wedding. This is the Harry I knew aand loved from growing up in Falls Church VA!

    Thankks for the post!

    Jerry

  • Harry was a unique individual. This brings back so many memories for me of him and our days as Coral Reefers.

  • Worked at the Thom McCan's at Tysons Corners too. Was that JEB Stuart HS?

  • This a very funny video and that's the Phillip Fajardo I knew and loved, what happened to him?

  • He lives outside of Austin, Tx and plays in bands around the area

  • good stuff

    thanks for sharing

  • Thanks Roger. Looks like fun.

That coulda been my front yard in TLH once upon a time.

Did you play Mother Blues in Dallas?

    That was a cool place.

  • Ok, that was pretty cool. Sure wish I could still grown my hair that long.

  • I wish I just had some hair

  • Classic. Heck I used to look like that in 1975! And remember .....
