  • Hi,

thank you very much for this wonderful recipe...

  • there goes your lifeline with the scissorcuts

  • very good video keep goin :D

  • Why is it that whenever someone does a recipe on YouTube and the cook(s) doesn't add salt everyone comments about it. Pay attention to the other ingredients. Do you have any idea how much salt is in soy sauce? Not to mention the other sauces. There is plenty of salt.

And if you are one of those people who over salt everything, just freaking add some..

Salt on top of soy sauce... shiver..

  • thank god most of the items are optional.. Cuz i dont have most of them.. haha

  • What...No Salt?????

  • the BB corn is raw before cooking or not ?

  • @RainDrops054 : The canned ones don't need to be cooked a whole lot but the frozen and the raw ones need more time to cook. But it is always a good idea to make sure all your food is heated all the way through.

  • u are fantastic :)

  • This was delicious. Reeling because I found out my favorite Chinese restaurant closed. Made this and I'm thinking I won't have to seek out Chinese again. THANKS!!!

I used a couple packages of Ramen that I had in the house without the seasoning packet. Works like a dream. Have it with the Szechuan green beans. Seriously you'll be looking around for your tip because you served yourself restaurant style food :-)

  • Oh i just watched the vidoe again and it says egg noodles. :L

  • What type of noodles are they?? :)

  • @anoshig8 : Chinese noodle - you get them in different varieties.

  • can v break d noodles before boiling?

  • @drpriyacpr : Yes, you can :)

  • why don't you break the noodles before boiling them

and why break the noodles that is what's making fried noodles that way

  • @Sam020279 thats a good and better idea. I always break the noodle before boiling them. I actually break then quite small, so boiled noodle are 4" to 5" long. This way its much easier to move them around in the wok.

  • Toss it really well! xD

  • @ninadroks : The saltiness comes from the soy sauce :)

  • You guys are awesome! How long do you let it cook for???

  • @pattypatty6375 : After the noodles are added in, allow them to get heated. That's it.

  • Can we use shrimp in this and what stuff can we leave out if we don't have it

  • no chicken?

  • Probably it's better to cut the noodles before throwing in to the wok, so you don't damage the wok.

  • 1:53 that's what she said!

  • What kind of oil?

  • @toughdog6789 : We used a combination of Sesame Oil and Canola Oil - but you can use only Canola Oil and it'll still taste good :)

  • instead of those thin noodles can be a package of pasta spaghetti

  • i gave it a good toss... and it turned out runny!

  • none of my videos play, is anyone having the same trouble?

  • that's great ;) very professional

  • What is the name of the soy sauce you used? I was just wondering because there are so many varieties of soy sauce, some are lighter (like the Chinese soy sauce) and some darker. Doesn't it matter?

  • @Rathai2. dark soy sauce are for coloring, lighter soy sauce are for the taste. you would want to use less of the dark sauce and more of the light sauce in cooking asian dish.

  • what just happened? Did I just get rick rolled for 3 minutes before the cooking lesson? Mormon's? What just happened here?

  • Hmmmmmmmmm i love Chinese Noodies

  • subscribed!

  • This looks delicious! But yeah, I would skip the corn. I am definitely going to try this (and eat it with a spicy prawn curry).

  • I love this fucking food

  • what the?

  • u dont put any salt on it?

  • @numistupik soy sauce is already salty

  • Awesome show you got, but please use better microphones (perhaps clip-on mics), the cooking sound kinda disturb me a little.

  • oh my gosh! - on my way to the kitchen to make one... AND I'M A GUY!!! (no pun intended!)

  • Is corn really necessary?

  • @Gamez4eveR : It is optional.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry looks delicious. do you have any video where you cover a similar dish but with meat?

  • @shanhitex : Well, it would be too similar to this one :( .

All you have to do is to saute some meat (chicken, beef, pork) in the oil 1st. Once cooked remove it for a while and carry on with the rest of the process and add the chicken right before adding the noodles. Simple :)

  • so, can you 2 cook for me someday?

  • this is more like fast noodle, not traditional Chinese noodle

  • Do you have a General Tsos Chicken recipe that i can put on my general tsos chicken website?

  • If you like all types of meats dishes my channel is the place to be, come through and check out my cheesy potato casserole

  • Wether it's Chinese, or Indian-Chinese, or Canadian, it looks delicious. Thanks to this video I've been devouring noodles everyday! Love your videos/recipes. Please keep em coming.

  • You obviously don't listen to Chef John, never rinse noodles! Then none of the sauce or veggies will stick

  • if i want a small amount of this dish just for 1 person can u tell me the amount i will need 4 that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

  • @sErOz1997 : You can quarter the recipe and it'll be perfect but let me tell you that there are never any leftovers with this one :) Also, it stays well in the fridge - make a big batch and re-heat it and enjoy it over a few days or maybe have a party :D

  • @ShowMeTheCurry so how would you heat this up? Microwave or back on the stove top?

  • @TheChicClique To heat this up me and my mom would heat it up in the microwave but if it looks ail dry we would place 1 TBSP seasme oil the skillet and heat it on the stov top for 5 minutes. o yea it deppends on your personal preference, if you just want it heated up use the microwave, but if it looks alil dry after staying in the frig for abit, just reheat it on the stove top with a vegetble oil (seasme, olive, penut))

  • How much would it cost for this?

  • I've never thought of using baby corn, but I'll try next time. It looks pretty. Thanks for the recipe. Although, I don't use vinegar when I make noodles stir fry. I'll try that too just to see the difference in taste. Thanks girls!

  • how much would it cost to make this?

  • Indo -China = Vietnam, Indo - chinese = vietnamese. So basically this is vietnamese noodle.

  • I have a hard time making these types of dishes because it seems as though the noodles even though are cooked well, clump together and the veggies sink to the bottom and mixing them doesn't even help. Should I cut the noodles into smaller lengths?

  • How, looks wonderful, must try for everyone! ^^°^^

  • I bookmarked this recipe! Let's see how badly I mess up this dish when I try to make it for my dad and I tomorrow!! haha (:

  • I like this. It shows the world is getting smaller. How did the Chinese ever get to be so popular? Thank President Nixon, I guess.

  • Ladies that looks amazing. I going to try to make this, wish me luck.

  • Fairly rudimentary stuff. I would add more soy sauce, some honey or sugar, some chopped peanuts and some fresh lime juice. And about 50 battered pork balls.

  • wah orang Indo ya? or orang India, I live in Seattle and been trying your recipe to survive college , thanks :) . I like you french toast*spicy one* recipe.
